Miss Michele pulled my 6th tooth! The Tooth Fairy is coming! I hope I get a 10 doller bill. I have a big space in my mouth. I am so excited!
Editor’s Note: Morgan typed this all by herself!
After our late night, we slept and slept and slept until no more sleep came out…which was about 7. We were up and rolling and scarfed down breakfast just in time to catch Momma on the Today Show! She was in the background behind the barriers, but waving and smiling like crazy. We watched it over and over and yelled “Momma!” like she could hear us from NYC!
Daddy managed to get a shower and get us dressed, then we were right back out of the house again. Today, the destination was the Children’s Museum! We walked in a made a bee-line straight to the newest exhibit…Bob the Builder. Then our favorite area, the Dinoshpere, was up next, including digging for fossils and playing dress-up like a baby dino. Next, we rode all the way up to the tippy top and spent a bunch of time in the ScienceWorks before it was time for lunch in the food court where we planned the next phases of our adventure. Our strategy brought us to the Planetarium to watch the Big Bird and Elmo show about stars and constellations. Finally, we rounded out the trip with about a dozen trips down the Adventure Slide, the Barbie exhibit, and another trip through Bob the Builder before heading out to our traditional climbing and jumping all over the 7 Wonders Of The World outside.
We opened the place up and closed it down, so we were all pretty pooped and the ride home was pretty quiet. It was dinner, bath, books, and bed and we were out before 8! Daddy’s plan worked and he wore us out…just 2 more days until reinforcements arrive!
My day started off with my last swim meet of the season at Carmel High School. I was able to improve my time in both events, but I didn’t spend a lot of time celebrating because I had a bowling birthday party to go to back in Lebanon. I arrived a litle late, but I still had lots of fun bowling with my friends from school. I even got a strike! All that Wii bowling practice really helped! When I arrived at home, I was greeted by Mema, Pepa, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Manata. Turned out that Momma and Daddy had a hockey date with Uncle Manata and Aunt Carrie, so Mema and Pepa hung around to play with Parks and me. We had a great time playing Wii and games with Pepa. That Pepa really likes to play by the rules of game and not Una’s rules as the game goes along! Mema brought back Arni’s for dinner! Yummy! Then it was time to go to bed…I had to protest by stomping up the stairs. Pepa decided to lay with me until he fell asleep…I think it was supposed to be until I fell asleep! Thanks, Mema and Pepa! We had a really fun time with you guys!
Today was ANOTHER day of celebrating Momma’s birthday! The Lafayette Lawsons, Gigi, Poppa, and Mada all came down to the Lebanon Pizza Hut for birthday buffet at high noon! It was very busy, but it was very fun! Parks and I got to play with Riley and Taylor and made several inspections of the bathroom, too!
After lunch, we headed back to our house where we all played dress up while Momma got another load of presents! All I heard was an occasional, “Vera! Cool!” and, “I can take this Coach purse to New York with me!” and let’s not forget, “Holy Cow! That’s a lot of spending money! That’s ridiculous!”
We then did a quick scooter ride around the court until the rain decided to put a stop to our outdoor fun. No problem, time for singing, cake, and Just Dance on the Wii (on loan from Momma’s friend at school).
Now we are eating dinner and planning our bedtime rituals.
Momma Note: Thank you to everyone for such a great birthday weekend! I appreciate ALL of the super awesome gifts and time spent with everyone!
