This morning, Mommy and Daddy helped us get all bundled up so we could go outside and play in the snow! We started off innocent enough with snow angels, but it wasn’t long before we were throwing snowballs and wrestling around in the fluffy stuff. We even went down our slide, but stopped after Parker slid down and stopped his lower half with his boots on the ground, but his upper half kept moving and he ended up in a face plant in the snow :) . Finally, we each got a couple of piggy back rides from Daddy while the other kid chased and threw snowballs. Check us out:

We’ve been busy with all sorts of holiday fun! Check out our pictures…including Parker trying out for a sleigh-driving license, baking with Momma, The Night Before The Night Before Christmas Slumber Party, and Christmas Eve gift opening:

Whoo-hoo! Hang up the back-pack, close the school books, hello Christmas Vacation! We started off right with an early morning drive in the snow to hook up with the Lafayette Lawsons, Gigi, and Poppa to have Breakfast with Santa at Poppa’s work. We all told Santa and Mrs. C. what we wanted for Christmas, and then we got $5 each to McDonalds! Needless, to say, that’s already been spent!

After some playing at Poppa’s (Ask Gigi about Guitar Hero) we headed to BW3s for a Birthday Lunch for Pepa! It was a day early, but good thing we did on Saturday and NOT Sunday…more on that later. Parks was so tired he feel alseep on Momma right as the food came, and I was very wiggly which meant I was pretty wiped out, too. We spent some time back at Mema and Pepa’s house opening presents and crafting before rounding out our day running errands.

On Sunday, we jumped in two cars and this time headed to Carmel/Keystone/Westfield/Castleton to do MORE shopping! Our first stop was getting lunch at Red Habanaro. I really wasn’t feeling well, but I kept trudging along. We then met up at Costco (we’ve not been there in months!) to toodle around. BAD idea! Daddy almost had a panic attack negotiating all the holiday shoppers! At that point, Momma and Daddy split up; we went with Daddy for the rest of the day. Our shopping didn’t last long because I ended up getting sick in front of Williams and Sonoma at the fashion mall. I’m not going into detail, but let’s just say I spent the rest of the afternoon on couch. Being sick stinks! Hopefully, now all the sicks are gone and we’ll all be good to go for Christmas!

Thanks to Poppa for Breakfast with Santa and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day late) to Pepa!

Welcome home, Daddy! We missed you bunches and are glad you are home with the whole goofy gang!

Tonight started with meeting Mema and Pepa at our house after school. They were making some sort of head wreaths for Momma’s Christmas in Denmark extravaganza while I ate dinner, did homework, and got ready for my program. Parker just watched Dinosaur Train. We soon jumped into Pepa’s truck and were on our way to the high school in a torrential downpour. Much to my surprise, Daddy, Gigi, Mada, and Poppa were already there waiting for my arrival and to usher in the big star. Daddy took me to the cafeteria to hang out with my friends before the show while everyone else got seats for the show.

When the curtains opened, Momma spotted me quickly on the top riser. After singing our first song about polar puppies(one of my favorites), I got to make my way down to the front of the group and stand next to the microphone for my speaking part in a song about giving Santa a hug! It was so cool! Momma and Daddy said I did a super-duper job. I was nervous, but I had fun! Our third song was about what it’d be like to be a snowflake.

Make sure to check out the pictures and the short movie Daddy shot. Thank you to Mema, Pepa, Mada, Gigi, and Poppa for coming to see me on such a rainy night!
