Wow, we are way behind with updating the site lately! Big shout outs to Gigi…we’re glad you’re doing well and we love you very much! In lieu of more actual updates of our goings-on, here are some pics we’re just now getting around to posting:

Last night was the first of my swimming lessons. I know, I know, I swim like a fish at Mema’s house. But, Momma thought it would be a good idea for me to learn all the cool swimming moves and how to jump off the diving board. Who would have thought, swimming in the fall?!? But, I love it and will be going back tonight to splash!
Morgan: Momma, do you and Daddy drink drugs?
Momma: What?
Morgan: Do you guys drink drugs? You know, like (whispered) beer?
Momma: You mean do we drink alcohol?
Morgan: That’s it…alcohol! Do you drink it?
Momma: Once in a great while.
Morgan: So you aren’t addicted?
Momma: No (scrunchy face).
Morgan: Good. It would be very hard if you were in recovery. I’m glad my parents make good choices. There are some that don’t.
Momma: Like who? Care to name names?
Morgan: Mommmaaaa!
Momma: Morgan, did you talk about drugs and alcohol at school today?
Morgan: Yep
Yep, we are really the parents of a 1st grader. Can’t wait to see what she talks about in 2nd grade!
