We got up bright and early this morning and got dressed & ready to go like any other day, even though it was Saturday! We had a lot to do today, so we had to get moving early. Momma and I jumped in her car and headed straight up to Lafayette. Meanwhile, we left the boys behind to fend for themselves. Seems like they got along OK, though, because they made a special trip out to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D! We had some important errands to run, though, while they were goofing around. First, we dropped the car off at the detail place to get it all spiffed up and ready to go for our big trip. Then, Mema came to pick us up and chauffeur us around for the day. Without going in to excruciating detail, let’s just say that the next few hours included stopping at each of the following multiple times: Denny’s, Once Upon A Child, the recycling place, K Mart, Christina’s, and the mall. Whew! Thanks very much for driving us all over, Mema!
In that time, the boys were able to make their way north to meet us at Gigi and Poppa’s in Lafayette. We stopped by to hang out for a minute before our Spring Break, and a trip to Gigi and Poppa’s is always a good time! Movies, snacks, games, toys, and fun times! We also got some goodie bags with some snacks and stuff to help pass the time during the trip to Alabama. Thanks for letting us crash your afternoon, Gigi and Poppa!
Finally, we rounded out the evening with a stop at Pepe’s and a quick run in to the mall (yea, again) for some new kicks for Mommy and Daddy. Back to the detail place to get Momma’s car, then straight home and to bed where we all crashed right away after such an on-the-go day.
Just wanted to take a quick sec to thank Gigi for a fun Gigi Friday and to wish her and Poppa a safe and fun trip to Chicago this weekend!
Spring is in the air! As Gigi Friday was winding to a close yesterday, we all headed outside to enjoy the weather and knock the dust off of our bikes. We put a few laps in, then topped off the evening with some bubble fun!
Besides being Mommy’s birthday, it was a beautiful day outside and we enjoyed it to the fullest. First, we got up super early to wish Mommy a happy happy birthday. She responded by making us some breakfast and going back to bed
Then, we all got dressed and headed to Lafayette for some grub with the family. We met the whole crew at Golden Corral…Gigi, Poppa, Mada, Riley, Taylor, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Manata. After filling our bellies with grub, we joined the whole Corral gang in singing a silly birthday song to Mommy. Next, we headed to Gigi and Poppa’s house for more festivities. The best part of the day was riding our bikes all around the court on a super awesome obstacle course that Uncle Manata and Daddy worked out. We all petaled really hard and wore ourselves out. All of the grown-ups thought that was a great plan to help accommodate the early bedtime because of the time change. Here are some pictures from the extravaganza:
Have a great birthday!

We found this movie stowed away on the memory card and thought it was something that needed to be shared. I’m showing off my Wii Fit skills while Parker is playing along on his “board”, too.
