Editor’s note: Morgan typed this blog entry all by herself!

WELCOME BACK, MADA! We’re glad you’re back, sorry about the Indiana weather that greeted you!

Just wanted to let you all know that we officially applied for our passport cards today at the Lebanon Post Office. We all had to get our pictures taken…Mr. Man was not at all liking the idea….but there aren’t too many ideas (other than his own) that he really ever buys into. Daddy had already filled out all the paper work so all Momma had to do was write FIVE separate checks to pay for FOUR little cards! Who knew going out of the country for twelve whole hours would cost over $200! And we didn’t even get real passports (like for flying)…we just got the cards that allow for only ground and boat visitation to Canada, Mexico, and Bahamas.

When we had finished there, we headed to Indy to buy a couple of things at Lowe’s…dumb looking ceiling fan for the family room included. But we did get to pick up Daddy’s Apollo 13 movie poster! It looks awesome! A quick lunch at Mellow Mushroom and then back home for some rest.

Medical Update from Dr. Momma:
Bubb-throat is white, swollen, and ookie
Morgan-throat (looks like tonsels from my expert medical point of view) are swollen, nose is running like a faucet, and now has the famous Daddy football cough.
Parker-I think his tonsels may be a little swollen, but who can really tell with a flashlight and little Mr. that likes to blow rashberries in your face while your trying to take a look?!?
Momma-Loosing my voice after 21 conferences in 7 and 1/2 hours and still 5 to go. Also tired. Does that count?

Thank you to Gigi for picking up the Morgan and deliver the kiddos since my hair appointment took Waaaay too long!

I had a pretty rough start to the weekend. Daddy had to come pick me up early from school on Friday because I was running a pretty high temp and shivering like crazy. We headed straight to the doctor to get checked out, and lungs were clear and throat culture was negative, so I have what the professionals like to call “a cold”. I was asleep before 6 that night because I knew that I had a big day coming up, and I needed to get better quickly.

On Saturday, the boring resting continued. I watched movies on the big screen and sipped Sprite and Gatorade while Daddy (with his own swollen glands and sore throat) furiously clicked away at some movies he is trying to clean up on the computer. Meanwhile, Mommy and Parks (both feeling fine) served as the official Department of Valentine’s Day ambassadors from Lebanon. They went up to drop off bags full of pink and red goodies to all of the cousins who have been good for the Valentine’s fairy. As it happens, Parker and I must have been good, too, because we both received generous helpings of candies and toys from Riley and Taylor! After their visit, Mommy and Parks rounded out the afternoon with a trip to Mema and Pepa’s. Parker snuggled on the couch with Pepa to watch Monster Garage while Mommy and Mema watched us watch the show…we must have been pretty cute sitting there! Adding the Valentine’s gifts from Mema and Pepa to the already overflowing basket filled by R&T, Gigi and Poppa, and Mada from way down in sunny FL…our dentist will be our biggest fan!

When the well-ones of the family got back, we had some dinner, bath, and right to bed for the big show today. We had an afternoon planned to go see a circus called Cirque de Soleil. First, though, was a stop at Mommy’s new favorite passion…Scotty’s Brewhouse. We filled our bellies with their special cheese dip, cheese quesadillas, mac ‘n cheese, and fries with cheese on top. Mommy and Daddy had wraps…doesn’t sound like there was nearly enough cheese in there!

Finally, we were on our way to Saltimbanco. This show was awesome…from the live music to the very, very colorful costumes and stage, the funny clowns, and the crazy acts! My favorite was the mime who pretended to get stuck in the potty and went underwater when the toilet overflowed (now that I write this, maybe you had to be there). Daddy’s favorite was a toss up between the guy who did crazy bike stunts and the girls on the trapeze who were swinging way out over the crowd doing high-flying drops and grabs. Mommy seemed to really like the girl who stomped and smacked twirling balls on chains against the floor in a percussion beat and made a whole crazy song out of it. Parker was taking everything in, but he seemed especially fond of the popcorn.

There was a strict “no cameras” rule, so we don’t have many pics to share. But, if you ask, I’m sure we’ll tell you all about it!
