Cheesy Day

Hey all…I bet you’ve been wondering what’s been going on over here since Christmas. We’ve been at home with Mommy and Daddy everyday, so you would think that there would have been plenty of time to make some posts. But, we’ve been having too much fun to stop and document, so it will just have to suffice to say that things have been great and we’ve been having a blast.

Now that we’re in the final stretch of our holiday vacation, it is time to get back in to the swing of things. Today was our “pack up and head out and get things done” day. We dropped Daddy off at Dream Dinners and headed off to our first round of stores, which included Once Upon A Child to drop off some of our old stuff, Kmart for some training unders for Parks (and some regular unders with Thomas, which he calls his “under trains”), and Hobby Lobby for…well…for Mommy. After we ran our errands, we picked Daddy up with our tasty morsels and stopped by Gigi and Poppa’s house to kill a few minutes. Poppa was there, and it is always fun to play with Poppa for a few minutes. We were so cute that we managed to re-arrange his afternoon unannounced and had him as a guest at Chuck E. Cheese’s for lunch. He even roped Gigi in to the mix, and she met us there after she got off of work! Momma, however, skirted off for an eye exam and left us there to fend for ourselves. After a quick bite of pizza, we started slamming those tokens in machines and collecting as many tickets as could fit in our pockets. We turned all of those in for some fabulous Chuck E. Cheese’s prizes, which included a butterfly necklace for me and a green ball for Parks. My favorite parts were the game that drops the ball in to the holes and the ID card making machine that puts your picture on a credit card sized souvenir.

The mark of a good time is the fact that Parker fell asleep before we hit I65! Thanks to Gigi and Poppa for letting us crash your afternoon!
