Hey everyone…it is sort of late on Thursday, but I wanted to send a quick note about my Christmas Program tonight. We ate dinner early (right after school!) so that we could get home and all dressed up for the show. Gigi, Poppa, and Mada met us at the door and Mema and Pepa arrived shortly after. We let Zip entertain the crowd for a few minutes before heading out to the High School. I went straight back to my “green room” to get in the zone for my performance while everyone else found their seat.
When I came out on the stage and took my place among the other Kindergarten classes, I couldn’t find my family right away. But, I caught a quick glare of something shiny in the crowd and turned to see Daddy’s bald head! Everyone waved when I turned their way and it was so exciting to see everyone watching me belt it out up on stage. I gave the songs my all, and everyone clapped and cheered for me when we were done. I hope that it helped to spread some holiday cheer! Thanks to everyone for coming to sing along!

This weekend, I helped Daddy with the traditional First-Grumping-of-Christmas. In other words, we got out all 4 Christmas trees, all of the decorations, and the lights and garland for the outside! I was the official helper for gutter clips for all of the icicle lights as well as the inspector and final touches for the garland and wreaths. It was cold, but we pushed through the pain for the spirit of the season.
Also, as I’m sure you’ve read over at Parker’s site, we hit the slopes in the back yard after school today. Here is a quick clip of me making a snow angel. Daddy is messing with a new toy that will let the movies play right here in the web page. Hopefully, that will be easier and better for everyone. Let us know how it works!
