No updates lately because Mommy and Daddy have been the most boring borings to ever have boring-ed. They’ve been working really hard on the dining room…painting and stuff. Parker and I have mostly watch Wall-E and beat up on each other, occasionally stopping to watch Zip run around in his wheel.
Since the very beginning of school, Mommy and Daddy have promised me a super duper prize if I had a good report card. I held up my end of the bargain after our first 9 weeks, so they held up theirs. This morning, we went to the pet store and bought a hamster! He is a little tan dwarf hamster and I named him Zip because he is really fast. We also bought all of the other accessories…bedding, food, mineral pellets, snacks and treats. We brought him right home and got everything set up while he hung out in his little cardboard box. Finally, it was time to let him in and check out his new home…he loved it! He sniffed around everywhere and checked out all of the nooks and crannies. He hasn’t yet figured out how to get up to the wheel, but I’m sure he’ll love that too when he gets up there. Parker and I were memorized by this little guy and watched him do all of his little hamster stuff all morning. Welcome to the family, Zip!
