We totally dominated Mema’s pool today…arrival: 12:30, Disembark from pool: 6:30. That right folks, I was in the pool for six hours today! Riley and Taylor came over around 3:00 (coincidentally, Parker Parks woke up from his 2 1/2 hour nap just in time to hang with the gang), and Aunt Jill came over a little later. We rocked the house!
It’s July 1st and we’ve officially logged 4 whole days in Mema’s pool so far…today being the longest stint. Unfortunately, it’s not been super swimming weather so the last three times, Momma’s made us swim in between raindrops and brave a few breezy days to just be able to say we’ve actually been in the pool! Parker loves swimming with his water wings and is TOTALLY comfortable in the pool. Most of the time he jumps off the steps and just floats around the pool all by himself. I, on the other hand, LOVE to dive! We got brand new diving sticks (only 3 sink) and that what I spend my time in the pool doing. Sometimes I leave my goggles on so long that I have marks around my eyes that make Mema and Momma laugh.
Just a few quick notes to add to my post…thanks to Gigi and Poppa for watching Parker and me on Saturday with Riley and Taylor while our Mommas and Daddys went to Dream Dinners. Also, thanks to Jen C. for having dinner with us on Sunday night. We know she’s having a very busy summer and hope that things calm down for her soon!
