St. Joe 2008

Narrated by Morgan, typed by Daddy (as fast as he could type to keep up with Morgan telling the story):

On Saturday morning, we waked up and went to the kitchen and had cereal (I had Cheerios with milk) and then we had some pancakes and syrup with my brother, Parker. And then, Papa came home and we all got ready to go. Then, we had a long drive up so we had to make another breakfast stop. We went in to Burger King to get something to eat. Cini-minis! And then, we had a long drive up.

And then, when we first got there, we went to the museum. We had a little bit of rain on the way up there. The museum was hundreds and hundreds of fun. First, when we walked in, we had to get a sticker and a stamp. Then we walked in to the dinosaur exhibit. And then we had to walk more, and we didn’t go in to the rainforest thing yet. Then, we got my face painted. It was a butterfly. Then, we planted vegtigibiles. And then there was this big barn where you could play. There was this water exhibit. Then we walked out of the farm exhibit and we went to the apple orchard. The apple orchard had apples from trees (not real apples) and the conveyor belt shooted them up to the tree and you picked them. Then we went to this place that had light on the ground and it had piano noises and I got everything right on clean and rotten tooth. Parker keeped giving the teeth a shot and brushed his teeth and ear.

While Parker was playing on the ship, I went up there too. There was this little house that there was food in (not real food) and there were kids in there and the big bubble thing you had to pull it fast but the kids did it slow but I did it fast and I was inside a real bubble. Isn’t that great? I went in a tube and there was a game and you had to put the little pieces on it. My brother named Parker Lawson, he weared a pirate hat and I didn’t like the picture of him but he looked very cute.

After the Children’s Museum we went to the city to look at the boats and I got ice cream! Parker got vanilla and Gigi got birthday cake and I got rainbow sherbet. Parker ate some of the birthday cake.

Then we got to look for some boats and I found an Indian boat and a tugboat named Theodore and Bug Tug. A boat said “I can read” and Junie B. was written in it…that’s my favorite! After that there was the strangest boat named Dream Boat and it was so strange that it had a fish with legs.

After the boats, we headed to the car to go for our hotel. We swam, and we swam, and we swam, and we swam, and then we went to our room. We had to get new keys because our room wasn’t finished yet. Our window had a view of the parking lot. We had subway for dinner. Mine was a foot long tuna but I didn’t eat it all. Horton Hears a Who was fun. I had a couch bed.

The next day we waked up and I got a new tattoo and we went to Cracker Barrel and I got a new Webkinz! It is a husky dog and now I have 2 Webkinz, a pony and a husky dog. In Webkinz world there is a door that goes to their rooms. Parker got a lellow helicopter and there is candy in it but we didn’t tell him.

We swam and swam again but Parker did not let go of the squid. But, after we swam, we had to go back to Gigi’s house. Half way there, we got a good girl and a good boy present. When we got back to Gigi and Poppa’s house, I played for a while with Mommy and Daddy.

And, that’s the story of Morgan and Parker’s big adventure. Adios!
