I wanted to thank Mema and Pepa for getting us from school last Thursday! I had lots of fun playing tag and eating buffet style all night!
Also, we wanted to wish Poppa a fun trip to Ft. Myers! Hopefully you’re golfing while we are awaiting yet another snow/ice extravaganza!
Adam and Jude came over to our house tonight to play while their Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner to celebrate their Mommy’s Birthday. We started off with the usual fare, which basically consists of running around like crazies making laps around the stairs. But, as soon as the Byrne Parents left, we went right to work on our secret plans. Mommy helped us to bust out the cake mix and KitchenAid mixer and we started dumping in all of the ingredients. Then, we mixed it all together and put it in a pan for baking. We watched some Sprout while the goodies were cooking, then iced our masterpiece after it cooled down. Through all of this craziness, Daddy and Jude managed to keep down-low and off the radar…they just snuggled on the couch and hug out, quiet as mice.
After all of that excitement, it was off to bed, but check us out while we were hard at work:
Today was my 5 year check-up and thank goodness, because I haven’t been feeling very well in the last 3 days. Parker stayed home, too, but you can check out his website for his lowdown. Something about puss coming out of ears and that’s when I tune out!
I was sent home from school on Monday with a temperature of 103! Daddy to the rescue! Dr. Harbor said it was just one of many viruses flying around out there right now. A chill day at home with Momma and I think I’m back on the mend.
I’m actually on the charts now…95% for height, and 90% for weight. My vision is 20/30, and I passed my hearing test with flying colors! Dr. Harbor was very nice to me, and we chatted about the fact that she read Dick and Jane when she was little, too!
I want to send “Get Well Wishes,” to Gigi! I hope you’re feeling better soon!
On Thursday night, Momma took Parker and I to the DQ in Thorntown…not for ice cream though….Gigi and Poppa were there to whisk us away to their house before the big winter storm hit! Parker and I got to spend the night! We had super lots of fun! I got to sleep with Gigi in the spare room. Whenever she would snore, I would just give her hand a squeeze!
Friday came, and so did Riley and Taylor. Their school was closed, so they came over to Gigi’s to play with us! Since Momma and Daddy have the house pretty torn up with re-tiling, a new bathroom sink, cords strung everywhere in the basement, and now installing some under the counter lights, on top of the already not-so-tidy house, Gigi kept us one more night so that Momma and Daddy could make some headway and spend some real quality time with Parks and me this weekend. If you ask me, the place looks the same, but they reassure me that things are getting done. And they think Parks and I make messes!?! Check out the pictures of the renovation so far.
Momma and Daddy came this morning to picka-my-up. After a few hours of playing, Poppa came home and we all went to BW3′s so that Momma and Daddy could repay Gigi and Poppa for keeping us so long. With bellies full, we headed to Mema and Pepa’s for some sledding fun! Thanks, Gigi and Poppa for taking such good care of us! Mommy and Daddy appreciate it more than you know!
