Oh, man, is it time for another Mommy and Daddy post again?!? Really, the time is flying by so fast that it is almost not fair. Every moment with you new, exciting, interesting, and fun, and we cherish every one!
Some of our favorite moments and memories with you this year have been on our big trips to Florida and St. Louis. You’re such a trooper and a good traveler. I love it that you’re interested in seeing and experiencing the world. Plus, it is great how these types of events provide an opportunity for you to come up with one of your famous questions or phrases to sum up the situation and make us laugh!
It is amazing how intelligent you are with your ability to soak up new things and recall with a photographic memory. Honestly, it almost a little scary sometimes…we need to watch what we say because nothing slips by you! You’re the smartest little girl, and we couldn’t be more proud. You teach us something new everyday, and not just facts about planets or molecules, but about how to appreciate what is most important: family, friends, and fun!
And it isn’t just your brain that is so big…your big heart is filled with love and joy. It makes Mommy and Daddy so happy to see how you love your little brother. It is obvious by how much you care for him, protect him, play with him, tease him, and teach him. But, your love doesn’t stop with just our family. You are one of the most genuinely caring people that I know and find a place in your heart for everyone that affects your life. That is a fantastic quality and is one of the reasons you’ll be someone that makes the world a better place by just being you.
So, even though you seem to be growing up way too fast, you make it way so fun. Keep being smart. Keeping being funny. Keeping being caring. Keep being special. Keeping being you.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Likes: I really like learning new things and am really big in to science. The good old Magic School Bus is still a big source of that, but I’m a sponge that soaks up everything from books and school. I like music and dancing, like High School Musical. I get super excited to do activities like crafts or science experiments. I’m still a girly-girl and like fairies, princesses, makeup, jewelry, etc. I like to eat waffles pretty much every morning for breakfast. I love my school and my teacher, Miss Michelle.
Dislikes: Trying new foods, trying on clothes, not getting an after school snack, the dark.
Notes: We’ve had some big adventures this year…we traveled to Florida to Ft. Myers and Disney World, Michigan with Gigi and Poppa, and a family trip to St. Louis. I had my first sleepover when my friend Ellie came to spend the night. I wear size 12 shoes and size 6 clothes. I give lots of love to my baby brother…I like to kiss on him, play with him, and tickle him all the time. My bedtime books are now either chapter books, or books that I’m learning to read for myself. I can swim like a fish in the pool and like to swim without my floaties! I did a great job as a flower girl in TC and Renee’s wedding. I’ve seen shows like Go Diego Go, been to a Pacers game, seen the circus, and have seen the Colts win a Super Bowl.
Ms. Mizzle gives everyone an A+ for their excellent classwork yesterday! The students were very attentive and learned a lot about space from our favorite teacher. Plus, everyone did a good job finishing their lunch before recess. But, the best part were all of the presents for the teacher. This went well beyond the typical apple (or thumbtack in the chair) and overflowed the desks with lots of pretty boxes and bags full of great gifts. The class must really love their teacher!
Thanks to everyone for coming over to our house to celebrate my 5th Birthday and make it the most special (and educational) birthday ever!
Check out how big I am in my 5 year pictures! Also, be sure to check the new family picture of us in our Colts jerseys.
It’s been a super busy week lately. Momma and Daddy have been buzzing around the house like the Bee Movie bees trying to finish some projects before my big party on Saturday! Mommy finished painting in her bedroom, and Daddy’s fixed the two big holes in the downstairs bathroom. In between all that, I finally got my haircut, Mema and Pepa picked Parker and me up from school on Thursday, Gigi came and played with us on Friday, and we had our pictures taken on Saturday! Can’t wait to see what this week will bring!
