This month in school, Ms Michele taught us all about the ocean. Needless to say, I loved it! We did sand painting, sponge painting, watched Blue Planet, dug for seashells, made sparkley fish, colored starfish, and made octopus with our hands. The best part was giving our individual speeches on our assigned sea creature. I was assigned the Man of War. After extensive research, these are the five facts that I found and shared with my class:

1. It had a bubbled-shaped sail that makes it float.
2. It is NOT a jellyfish.
3. It can sting people even after it’s been dead for several weeks.
4. Loggerhead Turtles eat them.
5. They move by the wind and the water currents.

I know you all feel much smarter knowing this information and will sleep better at night!

This Weekend

On Saturday, we ran some crazy errands down in Indy, but we made some pit stops at Chick-fil-a and at the milkshake store, so it wasn’t all bad. Also, we spent a lot of time at the park Saturday evening and got these great pictures:

On Sunday, Mommy and I went to a very pretty bridal shower for Renee. Gigi and I won a game, I got to eat a chocolate sucker, and came home with some banana nut muffins (which is funny because that is what Daddy calls me :) ). We also brought some treats home for the boys so they wouldn’t feel so bad that we had so much fun.

Thank you!

Thank you to Gigi and Poppa for watching Parker and me last night so Mommy and Daddy could celebrate their 9th anniversary with a trip to the movies! However, Mommy and Daddy, you came back way too soon! Next time, grab some dinner, too!

Here are the pictures of our adventure!

Also, check the updates to the 4-H Fair pics for the shots Mema got from her phone.

I just wanted to thank Gigi and Poppa for taking me to St. Joe’s this past weekend! I had a blast, and I’m still reliving the Children’s Museum to anyone that will listen…or not!! Pictures will be up as soon as Daddy gets home from golfing in this 95 degree weather! Silly Daddy!
