Saturday started out with a run to Denny’s for a fun breakfast of pancakes with whipped cream and cherries. Parker really liked the sausage patties, but didn’t really care much for the pancakes (he is a carnivore!). We came home to put him down for nap, then packed up to head north to Indiana Beach!
We walked in and made a bee-line to Kiddieland, only stopping for a quick ride on the bumper boats along the way. We checked out the scene for a bit before the rest of our kiddie-krew arrived: Aunt Carrie, Uncle Manata, Riley, and Taylor! We all jumped straight on the rides and kicked off the day that would consist of spinning round and round on various cars, boats, motorcycles, ponies, whales, etc. Riley and I became ride buddies and wore each other out riding everything we saw…sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row! Taylor and Parker held down the wagon and kept track of the Goldfish crackers for a while, but they had fun on the carousel and watching the daredevils laugh in the face of fear on those crazy rides. We finally kicked out of there waaaay after bedtime, but it was so much fun that I was still recounting the adventures on Sunday morning when I woke up!
