Since today was a “Stay at Home Day,” one would think that’s what we do…Nope. We headed to the Indy Zoo for some fun with Kara, Eli, Allyson, Andrew, and Parker. It was a great time! Check out Parker’s post for some details.
Pictures to come soon…
Yesterday was supposed to be, “Fun in the Sun, Swimming in Mema’s Pool Day,” but Mama quickly turned it into to, “Let’s Spell, Add, Subtract, Rhyme, Etc. Day!” Mama apparently didn’t get the memo that says I go to preschool only on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday…NOT on Swimming in the Pool Wednesday!! She did throw in a small element of water. I would swim under water and look through my super cool goggles to find out how many fingers she was holding up on each hand. Then I would come up, tread water, tell her the two numbers and then add the two numbers together. Here’s some of the things Mama wanted me to tell everyone in my blog:
1. I added: 3+4, 2+2, 5+4, 9+3(Thanks Mema, for that one)
2. I subtracted 3-1, 1-1, 100-100, 2-1
3 I spelled words in the -at family
4. Mommy spelled words for me to sound out in the -at family
5. I counted by 10, and 2 (Mommy thinks that one was especially cool-Mama, I’m in preschool ya’ know!)
6. We rhymed words together
Besides all the academics, I had another super fun day swimming at the pool! Ask me about my Cannon Ball, Can Opener, and spinning jump from the side of the pool sometime! Love to everyone!
Lots of love, hugs, and kisses to my daddy, my grandpas, and my great-grandpas! Have a great day!
So just to let everyone know, I don’t need my floaties anymore. Mommy and Mema said that I swim like a fish! Now, I don’t have any fins or really cool mermaid tail, but I sure can get my swim on! I swim under water, and I doggy paddle, too. I’m sure Mommy will get it all on film one of these days! Have a great weekend everyone!
