Hey everyone…sorry it has been soooooo long since you heard from me. It has been crazy at our house and I’m just doin’ my thing until Mommy and Daddy have a chance to jot down my updates.
Let’s see…the big things are that Daddy has been working like crazy (until 3 a.m. one night last week) and Mommy has been holding down the fort. We’ve hung out with a lot of people…Gigi and Poppa, Mema, Pepa, TC, Renee, Mada and Pada, and Aunt Carrie, Manata, Riley, and Taylor…all in the span since the last post. We had fun times will all, just didn’t get around to recording all the adventures. Sorry about that!
We also have two new cars in all of this craziness. Mommy has a white Chevy Equinox (in which my DVD player was promptly installed) and Daddy has yet another Passat, but at least this one is green and not blue like the others.
Thanks to everyone for their patience during the dry spell and I promise lots of great updates & pics in a few weeks during our trip to Florida!!!
Last night, Daddy and I went to Conseco Fieldhouse to watch and Indiana Pacers game! I remembered the building from the Princesses On Ice event and wondered a bit how they were going to play basketball on the ice floor, but Daddy explained that they can take up the ice floor and put down a different floor for basketball (I thought the idea of playing ball on ice sounded more fun, but I decided to give the wood floor a chance anyway).
After getting in, we went directly to the jumbo soft pretzel stand…do not pass go, do not collect $200 dollars. We found our seats and settled in with the other people from Daddy’s work…Jerry and his son Miles (he is 5) and Mike and his family (Kayla is in first grade and he also has a son named Mike who is in Kindergarten). All of us have a Nintendo Wii, so we talked about which game was the most fun and how we would send each other Miis. Next stop was back down to the concession stands for popcorn and a drink, then to the souvenir booth for a pom-pom, and essential item after watching a few rounds of the cheerleaders. I waved and shook that pom-pom all over the place and wiggled with the music all night! There was also a drum line that came and played a few times, and a crazy bunch of guys that had trampolines to jump way up high, do flips and twirls, and dunk the basketball. They have a guy called Boomer, too, that looks like a tiger and runs around messing up people’s hair. It was so funny!
Oh, yea, there was a basketball game too.
We finally were able to get together to celebrate Poppa’s birthday with everyone. Everyone has been sick, so it has been a long time since we’ve seen Riley and Taylor…it was so good to play with them. In fact, we were so far past Poppa’s birthday that we went ahead and celebrated Mommy’s ahead of time! Double duty!
Anyway, I think that everyone had fun, enjoyed the cakes, and the bath tub was full of little girls that night!
