Picture Day

Yep, it’s that time of year again. It’s time for the annual picture extravaganza…and this year takes the cake. Sorry Mommy, but I’m calling you out. So after 2 hours of getting ready we hopped in the car at exactly noon to make it to Clay Terrace for our 1:00 appointment. We were actually on track to be there early. That never happens anymore. Anyway, we were all but there when Mommy says in a panic, “Oh my God, we left all the clothes at home!” At this point she is now hyperventilating because “home” is 40 minutes away!! So guess what? Yep, we drive all the way back home (I’m not at liberty to say how fast Daddy was driving, how many cars we passed, or how many times Mommy grabbed for the dashboard) to get the clothes. Luckily, the appointment after us canceled and we were still able to get our pictures taken.

The picture taking thing went well. Parker became a little “Diva-like” towards the end and was ready to go back to his trailer by the last set of shots. I kept smiling through the pain… because I’m big. Strangely enough, many of the pictures Mommy and Daddy picked didn’t have Parker or me smiling in them. In fact, the nice lady actually captured Parker’s pout in one shot. Stay tuned for the picture update in about seven days!
