After another good week at school, the whole family spent some time playing in Parker’s room tonight. For once, he wasn’t screaming…instead he was drooling all over my picture! Ewwwww!

Sick Ward

So everyone at my house is sick. Momma says we all have head colds but I just know that my nose is broken, and there’s a frog in my throat. It makes it very hard for me to belt out “This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land” in its full intended glory…but I still try!! Yesterday at school we got to listen and dance to some old music…I think the singer’s name was Michael Jackson, but we couldn’t tell if it was a boy or girl singing. Miss Michelle reassured all of us that it is a boy…is she crazy?!?!

P.S.-I can spell CAT. “The letter “C” can borrow sounds from the letter “S” and “K!”

Still Dry!

Six nights and still no accidents in bed! I told Mommy that Parker can have my princess pull-ups so he has more room in his diapers! I think he’ll look great in pink princesses!

Recap

After a good week at school, Mommy took Parker and I up to Gigi and Poppa’s house on Friday. Mada and Pada even got in on the action and crafted with me and held Parker while he grunted, smiled, and whined. Then, Mommy packed me in the car to head all the way south to Carmel for the Fall Festival at Daddy’s work while Parker stayed with Gigi and Poppa for his first overnight trip!

When we got there, it was a little rainy so the super slide and moonwalk were closed, but there were plenty of games and activities inside the Conference Center. We hooked up with Jennifer and Adam and started stalking down the face painters right away. We were the first customers and warmed up their brushes with a dolphin on my cheek and a turtle on Adam’s. Then, Daddy, Adam, and I hit the duck pond game and a few others for big fun! I ended up with two necklaces and a foam airplane for all of my hard work at the carnival games. After the fun, we hit BW3′s to watch the 596 TVs they have (but none of them were tuned to the Cartoon Network :( ).

On Saturday morning, we headed back up to Lafayette to get Boy and have some lunch. Congratulations to Gigi on her new dining room…I can’t wait to break it in with craft time! Sunday was a lazy day. We started off with donuts we picked up at the Krispy Kreme on the way home and watched some movies while Mommy and Daddy piddled around with some projects.

THIS JUST IN….After 3 whole nights of NOT pottying in my pull-ups, Mommy and I decided it was time to try wearing undies to bed. And guess what?!?! I did it…I mean I didn’t do it…I mean….I WENT ALL NIGHT WITH NO PEEING IN MY BED!!!!! Just don’t get between me and the bathroom around 7 AM because I’ll run you over in my urgency to go potty! Thanks to Aunt Carrie for the “sheets” that were supposed to be for Parker’s crib; Mommy said they will help me not to potty in my bed!

I just wanted to throw out some of the new things I’ve learned/done in the eight short days I’ve been at my new school:

1. Many new songs including:
“Peanutbutter”
“5 Little Monkeys”
“Miss Me, Miss Me, Now You Gotta’ Kiss Me” -learned this one from a boy at school-Mommy loved that!
“America the Beautiful”

2. I make the lower case “a” in shaving cream
3. I make lots of crafts!
4. I can tell you about 9/11
5. I know SOME spanish words for SOME parts of my body
6. I am coloring in the lines-check out our fridge sometime for some examples

I also carry my pink backpack to school everyday-Mommy thinks this is pretty cute!
