Decorations

While baby brother is eating and sleeping, I’ve been keeping myself entertained by taping anything that doesn’t move up on the walls. Specifically, Mema brought a whole bunch of cut-out shapes. I decided that they would look great as decorations. I filled up my wall with leaves and flowers and some overflowed to baby brother’s room. Then, I started in with some pumpkins downstairs. These have some special treatment…I drew faces on them and named them all after members of our family before they got their slab of tape applied.

Sleep Update

For those of you keeping score on MY sleeping habits at night, here it is. I’ve stayed and slept in my own bed the last 2 nights! Yippee Me! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me! Although I like sleeping in their room, the floor is not even close to being soft enough for my lumpy head!

Tonight, Daddy picked me up from school and brought me home for a quick “Hello” to Mommy & Parker before we headed out to catch the 5:00 showing of Barnyard! We had popcorn, Sprite, and Daddy let me have a box of Nerds! The movie was pretty funny, I especially like the part where the cow shows the mailman his butt. Daddy said that his favorite part was spending some special time with me!

Hello again

You would think that with several adults at home for the last couple of weeks, I would be able to squeeze a post in edgewise. Anyway, Mommy and Daddy would like me to let the world know how proud they are of me. They say that I’ve been such a great big sister. I am very loving and caring to my baby brother, Parker. I help hold the bottle and I sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” when he cries, which Mommy and Daddy say is great.

This week has been pretty crazy as far a schedule…I’ve been to school a little and at home a little. But, I want to give an extra-big shout out to Ganny, who has come down to help with Parker and play with me. I’ve had so much fun making fun dinners for Mommy and Daddy like Pigs in a Blanket (they aren’t really pigs, they’re hot dogs).

Finally, I’ll leave you with a sampling of work from my latest endeavor, photography. This is what happens when you turn a 3 year old loose with a digital camera.
