On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy spent another fun-filled day of cleaning, scrubbing, and polishing everything that stood still to prepare for our Open House on Sunday. When they did all they could for the day, we got cleaned up and headed down to Westfield. After a quick nap on the trip down, we stopped at Baby Adam’s house to play while Mommy and Jennifer went to our friend’s new portrait studio opening. Adam has the best playroom ever, with a bunch of cool toys, games, and books. He also has a lot of movies…my favorite pastime.

When the girls got back home, we headed out to BW3′s for wings and beer…or, well, milk and smiley-face potatoes. It was waaaaay past my bedtime, but it didn’t take much for Daddy to talk the crew in to some tasty ice cream to fill in the cracks of our full bellies. Rob got a Handel Pop, and apparently was very proud of ordering the signature item from Handel’s, as you can see in the pics. Adam and I wore our buffalo horns and sampled everyone’s tasty treats until I got my very own mini-cone with candy eyes pressed in to the scoop, just like a little ice cream Weeble.

After getting to bed after 11 on Saturday night, I slept in on Sunday morning and lounged around while Mommy and Daddy finished up the last of the cleaning. Then, we skipped town while our house was being shown and had lunch with Mema and TC at Ruby Tuesday. Finally, we made a quick stop to meet up with Gigi and Poppa to congratulate him on his great luck at the casino before heading home to meet the realtor at 5. We’re still trying to get Steve’s house, but we need to sell our house first. Anyone know somebody that wants a butterfly & cloud bedroom?

Playtime!

Daddy actually came home before the sun went down today! So, he gave Mommy a much-deserved break. She has been doing full-time Mommy Duty for a few weeks, but tonight she went up to take a nap while Daddy and I went outside to play! At about 43 degrees, it was a heat wave. But, we still bundled up in hats and gloves before we played soccer, tag, and general blowing-off-steam-and-running-off-energy.

Tomorrow is Ganny Day…it is soooo much fun to pull in to our old haunts in the new ride! Beep, beep!

Big Sister

Well, I think its official and everyone knows…I’m going to be a big sister!

Big Sister

I’ve asked for a little baby girl named Sally, or Ally. I don’t like Mike, or any other boy names. In fact, Daddy and I like to argue about it…I say “Girl!” and he says “Boy!” When he tries reason and logic and explains that there are already 2 girls and only 1 boy, I suggest that Mommy could have a boy and and girl, and that seems to keep him quiet.

Here are the stats so far. Mommy is 12 weeks along. The baby is small…about 3 winz…”this big” (editors note: I have no clue how big a “winz” is). The baby is going to come out in 3 minutes, and it says “knock, knock” when it is ready. I think I’m going to be a good big sister. I know how to run the DVD Player and get fruit snacks from the pantry. I told Daddy that I will teach her numbers and give her a bottle, but I don’t know about sharing my barbies yet.

Party day

We got up today and finished cleaning the house for the big Open House. Once everything was dusted, wiped, mopped, swept, and shined, we headed off for the mall so Daddy could get some socks and I could blow off some steam at the playground. Then, we hit Gigi and Poppa’s house for a birthday celebration. The whole crew was there…Mada, Pada, Poppa, Gigi, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Manata, Taylor, Riley, and us! I had Wendy’s nuggets while everyone else chowed on Panera sandwiches and soup. After that, we chilled for a while before cake and presents. We gave Poppa the presents that Gigi and I picked up at Dollar Tree when we went out on the town in her new car, plus everyone chipped in for a round of golf while they’re in Las Vegas. What could be better than spending 3 1/2 hours out in the fresh air and sun…in the desert? Look out for the sand traps!

Poppa – best wishes for a happy birthday!

And, as a special birthday present, Gigi got a new car! Zoom, Zoom! Beep, Beep!
