Jump!

First, thanks to Gigi for coming to play with me on Friday. Only she and I could entertain ourselves all day with a pair of scissors and a pad of paper. That Ganny can make anything!

On Saturday, Daddy and I decided to give Mommy some quiet time to work on her school stuff. So, we headed off to the Witham Hospital Fair. They have lots of booths set up to teach everyone about nutrition, health, and safety…but I came for the candy and games! The prize everyone seemed to love the most was the whistle! Here are some shots of me going nuts in the Bounce House:

Just wanted to send a shout-out to Papa for coming down to play with last night. Mommy and Daddy needed to go to an important meeting and I was scheduled to go with them (bad idea) until Papa stepped in and rescued me! Papa picked me up from school and we played dress-up, Simon Says, tag, and any other game that I got to boss Papa around at. Thanks Papa!!

SIDENOTE: Daddy finally got his car back tonight…no more big truck!

Just a quick note to say that we went to see the mouse again this weekend. No, not Mickey, Chuck E. Cheese! That’s right…on Saturday morning I went poopie in the potty all by myself. No prompting or accompaniment from Mommy and Daddy. I just disappeared for a few minutes and then came streaking in to the loft to let the world know.

True to their word, Mommy and Daddy packed up and we were off to the craziest place anyone can go on a Saturday afternoon. I had pizza and hit the game room to collect my small fortune of little paper gold they call tickets. We went to cash out and instead of using all 184 tickets to buy a purple purse, I kept pointing over and over to the 15 ticket Smarties! Eventually, Mommy and Daddy caught on and ended the sugar tsunami, so I opted for a couple of purple bracelets and we left to return for another celebration another day.

At my new school, I learned how to say a prayer before I eat. I count to twenty all the time, and I’m learning how to recognize how many objects are in a group. My favorite toys are my Buzz and Woody dolls, Plopper, puzzles, books, pretend play (like my kitchen and the train set). We’re still working on the potty stuff.

Nicknames: Stinky
Likes: Waffles and peanut butter, watering the plants, brushing my teeth, my CD of Elmo songs, going to the library, my new DVD player in Mommy’s car, yogurt drinks, getting fancy drinks in the mall and sitting on the bench to drink them.
Dislikes: Being dropped off at school, being told what to do or how to do it, changes in my schedule.
Notes: I know most of my colors, shapes (like circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, ovals, diamonds, hearts), a lot of my letters. I started going to school at The Learning Tree. I’ve pooped in the potty twice and am starting to get the hang of it. Mommy and Daddy have lost count of how many words I know…I surprise them all the time by naming things that they didn’t even know that I knew. I broke my right leg just below my kneecap in an unfortunate jumping-off-a-big-baseball-at-the-playground incident.
