While the parents are away, the baby will play!!! Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Ganny and Poppa’s house and gave me lots of love and hugs and kisses good bye. They said something about going to gamble away all my juice box and french fry money…..I’m sure they will remember to bring me good girl presents!! I sent them on their way and settled down for bed. Saturday morning, I woke up singing Old McDonald to Plopper. Ganny made me a waffle for breakfast, but I soon convinced her chips were the way to go!!! Ganny and I went on a short drive to Mada and Pada’s house and I charmed the socks off of those two!! We played with Playdough and Mada’s best costume jewelry before I announced it was lunch time!! After a nap, Ganny and Poppa took me to 2 parties!!!What a fun surprise that Becky had a pony in her back yard!!!OK, so it was plastic and rocked on springs, but to me, it was Honey Pie pony!!I had a super time. Sunday, Ganny took me out for Pac Man pancakes along with Mada and Pada. That Pada sure can color! He stays in the lines and does well with his sticker book also. Off to the store to get a pink elephant watering can,and back to Ganny and Poppa’s house to help water the plants. I ended the day with another party (great porch swing Lisa and Chuck, but you really could use a pony in the back yard!)Monday I woke up
and advised Ganny I was ready to get up.Just one thing Poppa come to get me out of bed .We got up and got dressed and went to IHOP for chocolate chip pancake with a face of whipped cream.No worrys not a spec on THE SHIRT.
Than Poppa took me to Munger Park but the play ground was for older kids,so we went to Mccaw park where they had a play ground just my size.Aftr what Poppa said was about an hour.(seem like 10 minutes to me)we went to the house for a quick diaper change and off to the next stop.Poppa took me to see these crazy looking frogs.There were a lot and all different color and themes(what ever that is)it was cool.Then I told Poppa to carry me I was wore out.Poppa brought me home and off to bed for a short nap(about 45 min).
Than I was ready to play again,we played workshop and kitchen.Than Poppa called Mema and off we went to a new adventure. Thanks Giggy and Poppa for the fun time and the daily presents. I had so much fun I cant wait for the next time.
Just a quick note to let everyone know how much fun I had going to Madagascar with Ellie. We sat next to each other, ate popcorn, laughed, sang, and had a great time with Mommy, Daddy, and Jennifer Coyle. Thanks to Ellie for coming with me and thanks to her mommy and daddy for letting her go while they stayed home with the new baby boy, Eli.
Okay loyal fans, I know I’ve been lax about keeping everyone updated on my adventures and such. So here’s the such with a dash of adventure thrown in.
Saturday, May 14th-Rainy day. Gigi and Papa came down and took us out to eat at Bob Evans. Later, Daddy, Gigi, and Papa attended Rhonda and Brent’s 25th wedding anniversary party…Congratulations!! Meanwhile, Mommy and I were partying down at Cousin Lori’s graduation party. I met a few relatives that I’d never seen before AND there was a super-cool wiener dog there properly named Moose. He had a yellow ball. We had fun running, chasing, laughing, and screaming all over the place! T.C. brought his girlfriend to the party too. Her name’s Renee and she’s very nice!
Monday, May 16th- I was sent home early from school because I had another ear infection. This is the third one in as many months. My doctor gave me some super-duper medicine to clear it up with a side of ointment for my rash on my belly and back. That stuff’s awesome! I’m finally rash-free!! Amen! Ear recheck on Wednesday, June 1st.
Tuesday, May 17th-Mommy picked me up from school and we headed to Mema and Pepa’s house. Mommy and Mema went to get facials and pampered (I didn’t know that grown-ups wear Pampers, too!) while Pepa, T.C. and I played in the yard. Pepa pushed me on the swing, chased me around the yard, and got me nice and worn-out. I told Pepa I was ready for my jammies and away he swept me to their big gushy bed for some shuteye. However, that didn’t last long. Mommy came along and disturbed my slumber to put me in the car and head home. Thanks Pepa for playing with me!! I had a great time!! See ya’ Memorial Day!
Sunday, May 22nd-Mommy and I “blew this popsicle stand” and headed to Lafayette leaving Daddy behind to do work. We stopped by Aunt Carrie’s house to check out the babies’ room all painted. Well, Mommy checked it out…I watched Nemo with Uncle Manata. But Mommy said it looked great. On to Mema and Pepa’s house for a short nap. Then Mommy and I loaded up in the truck again and headed to Bennett’s Green House. Now everyone knows how much I just love bugs, dirt, and plants. So let’s just say this trip wasn’t a joy ride. The sooner we could get out of there the better! Next stop…the mall for a little playground action. After working up a sweat, Mommy and I each got our own fancy drink. Well, you can imagine how cute I was holding my own MoccaLattaGrandeChiFrappa(Translation-MilkyWay with flavored whipped cream) and chatting with Mommy on a bench! Before leaving I got a couple of new pairs of flip-flops and then off to pick up some Papa Murphy’s Pizza to take home to Daddy.
Tuesday, May 24th-MRS. JOYCE IS BACK!!!! I was so excited to see her that I had an assplosion at school today!
