For an unprecedented 4th time, I was a in the audience for Robots on Friday night. I took Mommy and Daddy to the Lebanon movie theater for popcorn, soda, and “riveting” show. I’ve seen this movie so many times that I’m starting to drink oil and change my socks with a wrench!

On Saturday, we finished packing up A LOT of garage sale things and, after a nice nap, headed north to drop them off at Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata’s house. After that, we did some shopping for big girl beds. I like the ones with purple pillows and I make sure to try each of them out to see if they fit me. We haven’t decided on one yet, but we haven’t given up. I’m sure the perfect big girl bed is waiting out there for me to climb in to.

A significant diaper blowout cut our shopping short and we made a pit stop at Ganny and Poppa’s for a change. We ate some snacks and watched it hail before braving the weather to hit the mall. Ganny and Mommy shopped while Daddy and I played on the playground for a while. We scared Mommy when we called from the playground…past history has left its impression. But, we were fine. We just wanted to hook back up with them so they could make good on that ice cream I was promised for being a good girl while we were shopping. We had our snacks and headed home for bed.

This morning was pretty boring. We just hung around and Mommy and Daddy kept looking for MORE garage sale things (look out Carrie!), but we’re planning on going out this afternoon, so maybe there are more treats in my future!

Manata and Carrie were up and at ‘em this morning and came to our house to get us moving for the Race for the Cure. When Mommy and Daddy were dressed and ready, we all packed up and headed out for the pre-race ritual…donuts! Once we had our proper nourishment, we sailed south and docked in parking spot really close to the start line. I played on the hill while all of the power walkers got past the start line. Then, we all lined up for the family walk…and I wanted to be carried. I mean, I just looked ahead to the mile in front of us and thought that the trip would be much easier on Mommy’s arm instead of on my feet. So, the suckers parents traded off throughout the trip, but I was only thinking of them and their exercise!

After the race, we hit a few baby stores and I was sure to try out all of the beds (especially the ones with the tents and slides). Then, we grabbed some lunch, and I was snoring hard before we were off of 465. I crashed again when we got home for a good nap.

Thanks for the fun walk, Carrie and Manata. And thanks for the lift around the IUPUI campus, Mommy!

Slow week

Hi all, its been a slow but good week. I’ve been a very good girl at school this week and have been taking good naps. Daddy has been working late on a new project, but Mommy and I have been hanging out and having a really fun time together.

One funny story to tell. I was in the bath and Mommy and Daddy said it was time to get out, but my reply was “Hang on, I’m pretty busy”! They thought that was pretty cute!
