Thanks to Ganny and Poppa for letting me spend the night on Friday while everyone carried big boxes and tables over at Uncle Manata and Aunt Carrie’s house.
After weeks of preparation, we finally pulled off the big garage sale. It was a huge hit…we got rid of all of our old stuff just in time to make room for all of my new presents! Bring ‘em on!
Really, everyone worked hard and I did my part by being an A+ girl. I got to eat donuts, watch movies, and play with Daddy and Uncle Manata in the yard, so what would I have to complain about.
As a special treat for being so good, the Garage Sale team took me out to Arrowhead Bowl for a few rounds in the lanes. I hadn’t ever been bowling before, but a 2 1/2 hour nap, lots of music, loud crashing pins, and a huge Diet Pepsi had me wound up tighter than last year’s swimsuit. I would run up to grab my special orange ball, run to the line to throw it, yell at it as it would go down the lane, cheer when the pins fall, run back to the ball return to do it all over again, then run back to my nachos with my arms flailing when my turn was over. Whew, this bowling is a hard sport.
