Okay, I know it’s been awhile, but needless to say it’s been a pretty eventful few days. I’ll take you back to Thursday night…that’s when Mema and Pepa showed up at my house! They came down to give Mommy a really pretty bracelet for her birthday. Mommy’s She-She-La-La now! I had lots of fun playing with Mema and Pepa and showing them all my toys including my TV in my room. We had so much fun that I didn’t go to bed until almost 8:00! Thanks for all the fun, Mema and Pepa!
When I got up on Friday morning, I looked around and asked Mommy where Mema and Pepa were. She said they’d gone home, but Gigi was here to play with me today!! Whoo-hoo!! Things were going fine for awhile, and then Mommy called. It wasn’t usual for her to call and check up on Gigi and me, but as a third party listener to the phone call, I soon realized that Mommy was pretty upset on the other end of the phone. On the way to school, Mommy hit a patch of ice on the road and spun her car into the ditch on the other side of the road! Mommy was fine, but her car sure wasn’t. The tires came off, the rims got bent, and a few other things that Mommy and I don’t really know about. Papa took care of getting Mommy’s car towed to Lafayette to get fixed. She has to drive THE BIG OLD TRUCK all next week until her car gets fixed! Well enough said about that. It’s all over and Mommy’s okay.
While all that was happening, Gigi and I made a birthday cookie for Mommy. I decorated it all by myself. Pictures to come soon. After a fun birthday celebration, it was time for a long needed night-night time.
Up and at em’ for another day of adventure! Mommy, Aunt Carrie, and Gigi went off to have a day of girlie stuff leaving Daddy and me to PLAY!! We called Nata bright and early to meet us for pancakes. YUMMY!! Afterwards, we went to Toys R Us for a scavenger hunt around the store. Then we went back to Poppa’s house to get ready to go to the ….MOVIES!!! I was escorted by Poppa, Daddy, and Nata in the viewing of Robots! It was great! I only dumped my lemonade once! As you can tell it was a pretty busy day, so Daddy thought it was time to go home for a little nap. When I woke up, Mommy was home and smelling really good! Thanks for all the fun, everyone!
