Usually, Daddy and I play, wrestle, and eat together all weekend. But, this weekend, Daddy has had to work a lot. And, that goes along with getting home late almost every night leading up to the weekend. So, Mommy was very thoughtful and took me on a special trip to go down and see him yesterday. I can see why Daddy likes to spend so much time there…he has a phone and a computer and pens and paper! I loved playing with all of that!
On another note, Ganny comes home from Florida today. I hear that there might be some stories of adventure from the trip, but I’ll let her tell you those. She should just know that we’ll be glad to see her again and I’m looking forward to next Friday’s Ganny Day!
Today, Ganny is taking Mada and Pada down to Florida so that they can play in the sand and sun during the cold weather up here in Indiana. We’ll miss them, but we all hope that they have a good time (and, bring back some sea shells!).
Well, the vacation is over and we’re all back at it. We were up early this morning for some waffles with peanut butter, Buzz Lightyear, and Cliffort the Big Red Dog. Then, coat on and out the door to school. It was hard to split up with Daddy since we have been together for so long over the holidays, but it was a lot of fun to see all of my friends at school. No offense to Mommy and Daddy, but it was nice to play with someone my own age today. When I came back home, we did the gauntlet of dinner, bath, books, bed. I had a lot of fun on my vacation with Mommy and Daddy, but it is good to be back in the normal routine, too. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays as much as we did!
