First I’d like to thank Gigi and Poppa for taking care of me this weekend while Mommy and Daddy went to Indy to visit Baby Adam. I had lots of fun and those M & M pancakes were yummy!!

I’d also like to tell everyone that after my “Mommy induced” timeout on Friday after school because of my SUPER bad behavior at school, I had a great day today! Mrs. Joyce said I was a really good girl. That made Mommy and Daddy VERY happy. Just for fun, I might even sleep through the whole night without waking Mommy and Daddy up….Naw…fat chance!

This morning was not a regular “Wake up and go see Mrs. Joyce” day. It was a “Morgan, we have to go see your purple owie doctor today” day. At first I was thinking, “What? No way are they going to put that giant purple owie back on MY leg! No way!!” But, I soon realized that that wasn’t the case. It was kinda’ the same because I had to get pictures of my legs taken again, but this time I got to stand up because I’m a big girl. I got to see Dr. Loder and he checked out my healing progress. He confirmed that I have knock-knees (big surprise), the right one being more bendy than the left. Everything looked good in my growth plates, and he told Mommy and Daddy that he believes that I will grow out of it, but he still wants to see me in six months to get another picture and keep an eye on the situation. All in all, good trip.

Next we did a little shopping at Old Navy and then on over to Cookie Cutters. Now, you’d think by the name of the place they’d have cookies there. Nope! Not a stinkin’ cookie in the joint! It was a place that Mommies and Daddies take their kids to get a haircut. That’s right, I said a HAIRCUT!! I finally did it and I was super awesome (at least that’s what Mommy said)! I got to sit on a horsie and watch Strawberry Shortcake while the lady with the big scissors cut about two or three inches off the back. No more mullet for me! I got my picture taken and put on a certificate right next to my first luscious lock of hair cut off, a lollipop, and a purple balloon. (Sorry no pics to post to the site right now, they’re all on Daddy’s camera phone.)

After that extravaganza, we ate lunch at Macaroni Grill. Yummy bread to, “dip it.” Soon, it was time to take Daddy to work so that he could go to his meeting this afternoon. Sorry Daddy! But it was a very fun morning and I can’t wait to show you all my new coiffeur!!

Just a short note to tell everyone that I told Mommy that I needed to poopie in the potty last night and I did it!! Really I just wanted the M & M’s, but if that meant I had to put my poopie in the potty then I guess I have to conform. One other side note Mommy wanted me to include was that when I flushed the poopie down the big potty, I said, “Bye-bye, Poopie. See you later!”

This weekend was great…I actually got to play with my Daddy! He didn’t have to go to work this weekend! Whoohoo! On Saturday we went to Indianapolis to do some shopping. On Sunday, we met up with Gigi, Poppa, Me-sa, her mommy and daddy and Carlos to celebrate Poppa’s birthday. I had a great time playing with Me-sa and Baby Carlos…he sure is cute! After a breakfast, we went to Gigi’s house to let Poppa open presents. He must have gotten a really good one because everyone was crying and laughing. Through all the crying, smiles, and hugs I found out about a trip to Scotland and some golfing on a golf course that’s even older than Mommy and Daddy! That’s old!! Sounds like fun guys! After the party, I went over to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata’s while Mommy and Daddy went to the store and bought a brand new big TV!! Talk about Clifford the BIG Red Dog!!! All 50 inches of him in High Definition…what ever that means!?! Anyway, Daddy is pretty excited and Mommy…well…it just must be a boy thing. However, I did request Star Wars this morning before I was off to school to see Mrs. Joyce and Mrs. Sarah.

Here are pictures of me in my Indian headdress (actually I prefer to call them “bunny rabbit ears”) that I made at school today. I liked it so much that I didn’t even take it off for a diaper change! Mommy and Daddy were hard pressed to get me to take it off before bath time, but the promise of M&M’s go a long way!
