Today, Mommy, Daddy, and I loaded up in the car and headed to Lafayette bright and early. We went to Ganny and Poppa’s house so that Daddy could go up to Delphi to help load up some heavy stuff in the big ole’ truck. While they were off doing that, Mommy and I went to Chick-fil-a to visit with Abby, Alyx, Amanda, and Jennifer. I got to play for a little bit and eat some lunch. It was fun to run around and play with other people that are my size. (Honestly, hanging out with Mommy and Daddy everyday is getting a little old.) Sadly, Ellie and her mommy didn’t get to come today becuase they are feeling sick. Hope everyone at the Eberhard house gets better quickly!
After our lunch date we went back to Ganny’s house for me to take a nap. WRONG! Mommy and Daddy have recently made up some covert operation to get me to stop using my binkie…they cut the end off of it! Well, being the smartie pants that I am, decided to hold my ground and not take a nap until I got my good binkie…I did after an hour and a half battle and then slept for an hour. Yeh Morgan!!
After my napping conquest, we loaded up again and this time we went to Best Buy to look at big TVs and some computer stuff for Daddy. I was still a little tired from my afternoon battle so we headed home where I jumped straight into my Incredibles jammies and off to dreamland with my giant stuffed donkey by my side. All in all, good day had by all.

On their first weekday of vacation, Mommy and Daddy were already itchin’ to go. Good for me, because they took me to the Children’s Museum. I took a power nap on the way down, had some chicken, fries, and chocolate milk in the parking garage, and then was fueled up for a day of fun. We hit the Playscape area first where I played with trucks, cars, big blocks, water toys, sand toys, animals, and lots of other cool things. Then, we toured the rest of the place to see what was new.

We played in the science exhibit where I saw turtles and fossils. After some convincing, I got Mommy and Daddy to go around and around on the carousel. I rode the black horsie. His name was Horsie. Then, we hit some of the other exhibits before landing in the Winter Wonderland area. We played on the ice fort and in the Cookie Cafe for a long time before heading down to the Dinosphere. There were HUGE dinosaurs down there and it was dark and noisy. Daddy carried me through most of it, though, so I wasn’t too scared. After hitting just about every exhibit in the museum, it was back up to Playscape for one last hurrah before packing it in. After a long day at the museum, it didn’t take much convincing to get me back in the car and buckled up to watch Dora…I was tired! But, I had a lot of fun learning and playing and I can’t wait until we go back again!

A little full. A lot of sap.

Thanks to everyone for all of the fun I had today! I can’t wait to cover the loft in all of my new loot. It was really fun to see and play with everybody. I love you all…Merry Christmas!

I got a special surprise when I was picked up from school today. Instead of the usual crew, Mommy and Daddy were with Aunt Arrie and Uncle Malala! Now, the following story shouldn’t be repeated to too many people, but I can trust my faithful readers with this info. We hopped in to Uncle Malala’s car to get home…Daddy and Malala in the front and Arrie, Mommy, and me in the back. That’s right, I rode like a big girl! I had a seat belt on and was sitting in the middle of the back seat. Mommy and Aunt Arrie made a special point to make sure I didn’t do too much arm waiving so as to not draw any attention to our seating arrangements. With white knuckles and a top speed of 26, Uncle Malala guided his sled over the river and through the woods all the way back to our house while I continuously gave commentary on where everyone was sitting…especially where I was sitting. What a lot of fun. Thanks for the lift, Uncle Malala!
