Yesterday, we went from Lebanon to Greenwood to Lebanon to Lafayette to Lebanon…and boy are my legs tired!

We started out in the morning by getting all dressed up and heading down to Celebrity Kids for pictures of Morgan! There were lots of lights, props, backdrops, and camera. I felt like a star! We did a few poses and played with some bubbles for a while while they snapped some pics, but then my Diva gene kicked in and I was done with all of it. I figured that we got some good shots for the fans, and we were ready to get out of there.

Back home, we had a snack and changed clothes before scooting north. Daddy hooked us up with some Chick-fil-a and we were off to Mema and Pepa’s house. Daddy took off with Pepa to go see Purdue play football. I’m pretty sure that he did it wrong because when he came home, he talked about how cold it was. Mommy, Mema, TC, and I watched the same game on TV, and we were all nice and warm.

Mommy had some high hopes of getting some Christmas shopping done while we were in Lafayette, but I quickly crushed that idea…in a good way! After I woke up from my short nap in a grumpy mood, I was the best almost two year old around! Mommy said that I was so good playing with my school bus, crayons, and T.C. that she didn’t want to wreck the moment by taking me out shopping. AND, every time Purdue scored a touchdown, TC lifted me in the air in excitement! That T.C. is so strong! After all, I do weigh a whopping 35 pounds, almost as much as he weighs! I had lots of fun playing with Mema and T.C. HOWEVER, when they put Ortan in the game as quarterback for Purdue, Mema and T.C. said some words that I only hear when Daddy is driving home in lots of traffic!

Rough Week

I have an ear infection, plus our IP address changed and so my website has been down. Granted, I’m not exactly sure what an IP address is, but it seems to have caused some havoc. Thanks for your patience, and talk in my good ear.

When Mommy and Daddy asked me if I wanted to go to a movie, I immediately started to talk about Shark Tale. But tonight, we all went out to see a movie called The Incredibles! It was a popular show…I think about half of Lebanon was in that theater with us. I loved the previews and got caught up in all of the short stories at the beginning of the flick. It had me locked in for well past an hour, but that is about as much super-action as I can sit still for. I hopped down and wiggled around for a while, but still kept up on the story. Then, before I knew it, we were to the action packed mega-duel with the evil monster and then the movie was over. Yeah, I made it all the way through another movie! I liked it so much (or, was so hopped up on Kit Kat and Diet Coke) that when we got home, I ran through the house for a half hour with my arms up over my head yelling “Yeah, Incredibles!”

My super power is in the back side of my diaper!

Mommy and Daddy say that I’ve been the best girl EVER this week! I’ve been walking in to my school room all by myself and am excited to play with the kids every morning. I’ve been in a great mood all day and give Mommy big hugs when she comes to pick me up. Then, at home, we’ve all been having so much fun playing and eating and sliding and watching movies and running and picking up rocks and leaves.

I’ve thrown in some pictures that they took of me in the tub with my bath crayons that I got for Halloween.

This afternoon, Daddy picked me up from school and we headed straight home to get changed in to my Purdue cheerleader outfit (minus the hair bows…that is Mommy’s job). We hopped right back in the car and took off for C’ville. Out of nowhere, an idea hit me on the road…ICE CREAM! Dairylicious isn’t too far off the path to Mommy’s school, and it didn’t take much arm-twisting to get Daddy to stop.

With the craving addressed, we went to Mommy’s school to show off my costume to her friends and the other teachers. I asked Jennifer Coyle if she would ride in our car with me and we took her home. Then, we went to see my friends from C’ville, Christy, Kelsie, Erika, Gary, and Keesha! It took me a few minutes to warm up and remember everyone (especially Gary), but I was running, hiding, and playing with everyone just like old times. They had a special Trick or Treat bag for me filled with my favorites from the Shillings house…especially the cheese puffs! I had a lot of fun seeing them again and can’t wait until we go to visit again (can we get more ice cream and cheese puffs again, too?).
