On Saturday, we loaded up in Daddy’s car and headed towards Westfield to do some more Christmas shopping. What’s that all about anyway? I think it’s just an excuse for Mommy to do MORE shopping! Anyway, we met up with Baby Adam and his Mommy and Daddy at Best Buy. I don’t like Best Buy. I’m with Mommy on that one. I showed my lack of enthusiasm by throwing a fit and laying down on the floor without much care as to where Mommy and Daddy were. Mommy said, “Way to make a good impression on Adam’s mommy and daddy.” I said, “More french fries, please!”
Next, we headed off to the Fashion Mall to do even MORE shopping. I could have made it a nightmare for Mommy and Daddy, but I decided to turn on the charm and be an A+ shopper. Besides, if I held their hands and/or was good in the stores I scored an M&M. How can you resist that? I walked around the whole mall being a good girl for TWO HOURS!
We made a quick stop at Toys-R-Us before meeting up with Baby Adam at Olive Garden at 6:15. Frankly, I didn’t want to eat anything that ended with an etti, oli, or an ini. I watched my Strawberry Shortcake video and wiggled around in the booth for two hours! I had a lot of fun singing with Jennifer! Baby Adam slept through the whole concert. I said to everyone, “Baby Adam sleeping. Shhhhh.” They must have thought that was pretty cute because everyone laughed.
We finally got home and into jammies a little after 9:00! I didn’t get up until 8:30 this morning. I thought I’d give Mommy and Daddy a break. It’s the least I could do for all the M&Ms they gave me yesterday!
P.S. I’d like to give shout outs to Baby Adam (Hubba-hubba) and his mommy and daddy! I had a great time with you!
Turkey day was a blast. There were more people in one place than I have seen in a long, long time. We were up at Mada and Pada’s house up on the hill in Delphi, and it was a good thing that all of the furniture was cleared out because we had the place filled. But, I had a special room behind the kitchen with all of my toys…including my biggest toy, Poppa! We played together a lot and had fun with the cars and the coloring books before it was time to pack up and head to Mema and Pepa’s house. I was soooo wound up and playing so hard that I stayed up until 8:30 watching that silly “Christmas Vacation” movie that Mema laughs so hard about.
We were up early (and often) on Friday and dropped by Ganny’s house to rest a little bit before our usual Friday-funday. Today’s adventures included a visit to Mada and Pada’s house and a sleigh ride with Santa and Bud the horse! He was brown and big, and I got to pet his nose!
Today was a great day at school because I got to celebrate my birthday again! Mommy sent iced cupcakes for all of my friends, Mrs. Joyce and Mrs. Sarah! Some of the other mommies probably won’t like the whole iced cupcake idea once they see the icing stains all over!! Mrs. Joyce and Mrs. Sarah gave me a really neat puzzle for my birthday, a card, and a pink hat to wear so everyone would know it was my birthday. I didn’t really want to take a nap with all the excitement, so I just sat in the rocking chair with Mrs. Joyce and told her all about my party. She loves it when I tell her stories!
After school, Mommy and Daddy took me to see my doctor. I checked out A-O-K! I’m jettin’ off the height charts, making my career in the WNBA that much more of a reality! I had to get one shot. I didn’t like it one bit, but I only cried for a minute. Mommy and Daddy said that I was so good at my appointment that they took me to “Dip It,” AKA El Jarepio for dinner. I got to eat chips and flirt with all the waiters. Hola, Baby!
This is my best day ever!! I woke up this morning to Mommy and Daddy singing, “Happy Birthday to Morgan,” quickly followed by a trip to Burger King to get hash browns! My favorite!! We went to Kroger next, and I got to drive the yellow racecar shopping cart! Score!! Then, I came home and played while Mommy and Daddy cleaned up the house. I received an awesome birthday message on my answering machine from Ellie and her mommy. I wondered what the heck was going on around here, but then I remembered…it was my 2nd birthday and today was my big shin dig!! At 1:30, Gigi, Poppa, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Manallaalal, Grandma and Grandpa McKnight, Mada, and Pada, and Mema and Pepa came to my house to party down! Oh yeah, AND they brought me a truck load of presents! Double score! I got lots of new duds, DVDs, toys, books, and something called underwear from Mommy and Daddy. Anyway, after mooching some cookie and ice cream from Aunt Carrie, we went upstairs to play in my new princess play tent! Somehow, I conned several of guests to get inside with me and play.
Thanks to everyone who made my birthday so special. It makes me feel good to know how much everyone loves me!
Check out some pictures from the birthday party!
I had a really good day today. I woke up happy, I went to school happy, was happy at school, was happy when Daddy came to pick me up and take me to the park, happy when Mommy came home, and happy when we were taking a bath and getting ready for bed. No promises on tomorrow…I may have used it all up.
P.S. – As you probably know, the server problems are still an issue. We’ve changed things up again and all is working…for now.
