Here are the pics from my Trick or Treating!

Okay, so I know it’s the night before Halloween, but Mommy and Daddy decided to take me up to Lafayette to do the rounds tonight instead of tomorrow…I even had to Trick-or-Treat when it was still light outside!! Oh well, I still made out pretty well! Here’s how the whole thing went down.

Mommy and Daddy got me into my super spirited Purdue cheerleader costume (be on the lookout for pictures) and away we went to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata’s. After all the practicing of saying “Trick or Treat” on the way up there, I didn’t say it at the door. Instead, “Happy Halloween” came out and everybody seemed to like it and I got candy and treats anyway. After some playing and picture taking, we were off the Ganny and Poppa’s. Pada was there, too! I got treats from Ganny and Poppa, AND Mada and Pada! This Halloween thing is like Christmas! I played with Poppa for a long time stacking Cool Whip containers in the kitchen and taking some nibbles of cheese pizza in the process. As we were heading for the door to Mema and Pepa’s house…Mesa and Carlito (Marisa and Carlos) AKA Wonder Woman and Superman came bounding in the door! I was so excited to see Mesa!! She played Ring Around the Rosie with me while Carlos showed off his great smile to everyone. Wow, I love playing with Mesa!

On to Mema and Pepa’s house. By this time, it’s past my usual bedtime but I’m hanging in there. Again, I ditched the whole “Trick or Treat” thing and walked right in telling Daddy, “Potty! Potty!” After a failed attempt at the potty, I got redressed and greeted Mema, Pepa, and T.C. with a, “Go Boilers!” They loved it even though Purdue lost their third game in a row to Northwestern! Mema and I shared a chocolate bar which Mommy quickly put the breaks on. Don’t worry Mema, we’ll get to share some more chocolate sometime when Mommy isn’t around! I finally crashed at Mema’s while watching Monster’s Inc. on TV. Mommy and Daddy said something about taking me to the mall to Trick or Treat, but I was just pooped out. I had more fun chillin’ on the floor watching a movie at Mema’s.

Thank you to everyone for all my really great treats! Happy Halloween!

When Mommy came to pick me up tonight, we didn’t head home. Instead, we headed down to meet Daddy at Costco. I really like going to Costco. First of all, they have samples of juice (yum!), cheese (yum!), chicken eggrolls (yuck!), and brownies (yum!). And, they have big, wide isles that are perfect for little girls who have recently had a cast removed to run up and down, flail their arms, and swing their favorite stuffed dog. Finally, they have huge TVs that show things like Nemo and Shrek. Next time we go, I’m going to hit the pretzel isle and pull up one of those leather couches in front of the HDTVs.

After Costco, we went right across the street to Buca di Pizza. It’s called that because they have really good pizza. I had some of the pizza tonight…I liked it a lot. Pizza, yummy! Did I mention that I tried some of the pizza?

We’re really getting in to the Halloween spirit at our house. Tonight, Mommy and Daddy helped me open up my orange pumpkin, clean it out, and put a face on the front. Check out my Jack-O-Lantern!

As promised, here are some pics of my trip to Pigeon Forge!
