Back to school for me this morning! We’re gettin’ back in to the swing of things. After breakfast and Wiggles, we packed up in Daddy’s car and went to school. I remembered it much better than Mommy and Daddy thought I would…I didn’t scream or cry when I went in. In fact, I went right to Addy (my favorite teacher) and snuggled with her for a while until I felt like scooting around. Plus, there is nothing like pizza for a Welcome Back lunch!
Right after lunch, Daddy was there to get bust me out. We headed back home right as nap time was starting. But, I surprised him…there was no nap time in my future. I sat in the computer room with him and watched Buzz and Woody while he worked. Don’t worry, I didn’t let him work too hard…we played the rest of the afternoon until Mommy came home.
Mommy has a brand new Big Ol’ Truck! Yesterday, she got a Jeep Liberty, and my Elmo DVD looks great in the new car! Ganny and Poppa were nice enough to play with me while Mommy and Daddy were gone all day getting this car. When they were finally able to come back, I had lunch, nap, a walk, and dinner all wrapped up. We packed up in the new Mommy-mobile and hit Mema and Pepa’s house. I played soooo hard that I hit the bed right away and snoozed until Daddy came to scoop me up for the car ride home.
Today, we were up for some Sesame Street and pancakes before getting ready and hitting the grocery store. I love to hear Daddy grumble about how hard it is to steer the big blue racecar cart around the store

Mommy and I had a super fun day together! We got up, got dressed, and hopped in Mommy’s car. Away we went to Lafayette! Our first stop was to visit Mema at her new school! I had lots of fun scooting around on her floor and under all the desks! After Mema, we went to the mall and did some serious power shopping! I didn’t even have enough time to blink because before I knew it, we were at Gigi’s work visiting her! Everybody was checking out my cast and making over me. I’d be lieing if I said I didn’t like all the attention.
After all the morning extravaganza, Mommy and I headed over to Gigi’s to take a nap. I was ready…I slept for two hours. After I woke up, it was time to head for home. Mommy let me play with my play dough on the kitchen floor and I told her, “Thank you much, Mommy.” She thought that was really cute. Man, can I pour it on or what? Daddy came home and he played “hiding” with me. I love it when Daddy comes home. He likes to wrestle with me. We have lots of fun together.
One more quick note: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO AUNT CARRIE AND UNCLE MANATA!!! I love you guys lots!!
Mommy wanted to make sure that everyone saw this email that Daddy sent her first thing this morning. This is a recap of the first 45 minutes after Mommy left:

1 ) Played on-the-potty, off-the-potty 2 or 3 more times.
2 ) Daddy knew she had to go because she pooped on his shorts one time when
he took her off the potty.
3 ) Peed on the floor, her sock, and Stinky. Daddy washed Stinky down and
drying now.
4 ) Wouldn’t go potty, so sat on the floor while Daddy went potty.
5 ) As she is scooting around the bathroom floor waiting for Daddy to be
done, he notices a trail of stinky stuff behind her.
6 ) Daddy finishes and scoops up baby to see poop all down her leg, smeared
all over the nightgown, up the back, etc.
7 ) Move to changing table to fully disrobe. Nightgown is trashed. Use
4,623 wipes cleaning up all of the poop from everywhere (hint: it was on
her elbow and shoulder).
8 ) Clean floor while naked baby waits.
9 ) Downstairs for full wash-down bath time. Didn’t wash hair, but washed
everything else twice.
10 ) Dress on and on the couch watching Shortcake.
11 ) Done…nope, wait, Daddy has poop on his shirt! Now, how does Daddy
shower without breaking the Shortcake trance?
…all before 8:00 am. This is going to be an interesting day.
