Mommy and Daddy wanted me to send another special thank you to everyone who played with me this weekend. I had a lot of fun and appreciate all of the love, hugs, and snacks.
After a good morning at G&G Macy’s we hear a knock on the door and guess who is there to pick me up for another adventure? Poppa!!! I asked where is Ganny but he said she was working.Seems like a lot of people do this working activity, I’ll have to check it out sometime when I’m not so busy. Anyway Poppa put in in Gannys car and we went for a ride but not to Poppa’s house. On the way I told him every thing I had done for the last two days. When he stopped the car and I got out, guess where we were. My house. When we got in I was so happy to see kitty I chased him around the house.(Not so sure he was happy to see me though.) I found all my toys (some I must had forgot)because I had to tell Poppa all about them. After a while I slowed down enough for chicken nuggets and french fries and down for a nap. I must have like my own bed cause I slept gooood. When I woke up I had to show Poppa how to slide (weeeeee),he looked funny going down the slide. So I thought he would like to ride my bikes also he must have cause he rode it alllll the times I asked him to.Than we went for a walk and I saw a girl on a big bike with two wheels Cooool. It started raining so we went in.We played with with my new bouncey ball Poppa got me at Walmart. We colored and read my books until supper time and bath. When Poppa was putting on my pjs the phone rang and I heard him ask if they had a good time and that I was a gooooood girl .Hmmmmmm I asked if it was daddy and Poppa said yes. Coooool He said that when I wake up Mommy and Daddy will be there. I had Poppa read me my storys and put my in bed so that the morning would be here faster…… Welcome home Mommy and Daddy I missed you….. And remember I was a VERY good girl just ask everyone.
Ganny got me a new pink flamingo bathing suit(I call it a duck) to wear in my wading pool. I had a great time swimming and insisted that Ganny and Poppa take a dip also! I helped Ganny water the flowers, she said I was a good little assistant. Poppa went to play poker, I’m not sure what that means, but it involves Ganny baking cookies. Sunday morning Ganny and I were the first people in Kmart and I came home with another new outfit! Something about being the cutest one, I guess. Pada and Mwada (aka G and G French) came over to swim with me. I even got Mwada in the pool (yes, we have photos)while Pada sat along the side and played ball with me.These big people sure laugh a lot when I’m around! After my nap,I told Ganny and Poppa I wanted to see Shrek 2 again(actually I just wanted popcorn and a soda.) They said something about not running in the aisles and to stay in my seat. I’m not sure how the movie ended, for some silly reason we left early. After supper and bath, I got to go for a car ride to see T.C., Mema and Grandpa Macy. Ganny and Poppa loaded the car with my suitcase and Plopper, so I wonder if I’m going to be entertaining a new audience for a while. I hope Mommy and Daddy are having a fun time and haven’t spent all my college fund yet in “Lost Wages”. I’ve been a very good girl……I hope they remember to bring me presents!
While Mommy and Daddy say “Viva Las Vegas!”, I say “Viva La Lafayette!”.
My weekend get-away all started on Friday night, when I went to Ganny and Papa’s house for some kitty-chasin’ and a dose of 5 kisses from Ganny.
Then it was off to Uncle Mlalu… Mlalay… Mulul… uh, Aunt Carrie’s house. Mommy and Daddy stuck around long enough to give me my bath and change one last poopy diaper before they put me to bed. Then they were off to Vegas!…
About 3 hours later, I was ready to play some more. I don’t usually get to see what 11:00pm looks like in Lafayette, so I thought I’d check it out. All in all, it’s not so bad, as long as playhousedisney.com is up and running. Apparently, Daddy forgot to tell Uncle Mlalu… Mlalay… Mulul… uh, Aunt Carrie what I mean when I say “Turtle, turtle, please!” while I type on the keyboard. We had so much fun, I decided I wasn’t really ready to go back to sleep until about 1 am. That’s when they figured out that I wanted to move my sleeping quarters downstairs.
Guess what? I eventually ended up pooping out in Uncle Mlalu… ahh, Aunt Carrie’s bed, but they moved my pack-and-play into their bedroom for a slumber party! Then, we had to read the Blue’s Clue’s book and Good Night Moon a few more times. I slept pretty darn good as long as Aunt Carrie was rubbing my back, but every time she stopped I had to ask her where she was. I can’t count really high numbers yet, but that was the most rounds of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star I’ve ever heard. They were singin’ fools.
I finally woke up in the best mood. I had some oatmeal and orange slices for breakfast while we all watched the JoJo The Circus Clown marathon on PlayHouse Disney. We colored, and went up and down the stairs, and I whapped Uncle Mlalayla in the noggin with an inflatable ukulele when he dozed off on the couch(Aunt Carrie made me promise not to tell that she told me to do it…). I ran out of gas again at about 9:30, and I slept and slept and slept until no more sleep would come out. That was about 11:00.
We played dress-up in my new bikini and ate some chicken tenders for lunch. All in all, a very productive day I think.
Aunt Carrie and Uncle Mlalayla whisked me off to Ganny and Papa’s house and they went home and caught back up on some Zzzz’s, but boy did we have FUN! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Saturday an A+!
Editor’s Note: Daddy is all the way in Vegas and Uncle Mlalayla still calls him for tech support! Poor Daddy!
Yesterday, Mommy and I went to have lunch with Daddy, Marvin, and Jennifer at Don Pablos in Carmel. I was a little, okay a lot, squirrely during the meal. But, I couldn’t help it. They took away the salsa so I couldn’t play in it. That wasn’t cool at all. So I paid them back my making the meal a little more stressful!! Ha!!
Today in the mail I got my balloon back that Ganny and I let go a few weeks ago with my phone number attached to it! A very nice lady sent it back to me with a little note included!! It made it all the way to Richmond, Indiana!! It was really cool to get mail from someone I don’t even know!
