I was helping Mommy water her plants with my watering can! Check out the pictures and video (SL)

Yesterday, I spent the day with some friends I haven’t seen in a while…Christy, Kelsie, Erika. Can you believe that they remembered me after all summer?!? We played all day…we colored, played with Keesha (their big doggie), went to the Montgomery County Fair, and visited Gary at work. It was just like old times!

Today, we got up and Mommy and I hung out in the morning until it was time to put her down for a nap (I laid down for about 2 hours, too). When I got up, we got dressed and took off to meet Daddy at Don Pablo’s for lunch! I had a bunch of tater tots shaped like letters and spent the rest of the time trying to avoid the chicken. We hit a few stores and then swung back home.

When Daddy got home, we hopped in the car and hit the Boone County Fair. I saw bunnies (hop!), sheep (baaa!), goats (also baaa!), cows (moooo!), and chicks (tweet!). We also visited the fine folks at the carnival and Daddy spent $2.25 so that I could ride the horsie on the carousel. Daddy played a game where he threw ping-pong balls in to fish bowls to win a prize. Guess what?!? He won! On the first toss, he plopped a ball right in to a bowl and we walked away with a cool new fishy. I named him Weeshy. He is in a Tupperware container on the counter right now and Daddy said he was going to put Weeshy in the big fish bowl in the back yard, but I don’t know what he is talking about because the only thing back there is the pond. Anyway, Mommy talked him in to taking Weeshy up to Mema’s and Pepa’s house and put him in to one of Uncle TC’s ponds. He’ll take good care of Weeshy!

My fun and adventures began on Thursday when Mommy and Daddy woke me up very early for a long car ride to Amanda’s house…Mommy’s friend in Crawfordsville AND Abbie and Alyx’s mommy. She left me there to play all day with some other kids. We played inside, we played outside, we ate popsicles, we read books, and so on. I had a really fun time and coolest part is that Mommy said that’s where I was going to be staying this school year while she’s at work. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m going to miss Christy, Gary, Erika, and Kelsie A LOT!! We had lots of fun times together, but, Mommy says that I’ll still get to see them so I can play with them. I’m going to hold her to that promise for sure. In fact, I’m going to see Christy and the gang tomorrow! Yipppeeee! I can’t wait!

On Friday, Ganny picked me up and took me back to her house so that I could see Marisa, C-Lo, Chuckie, Poppa, G & G French, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Manata. I got to spend the night there while Mommy and Daddy bought Daddy a new car in Indy (Sidenote: It was a really good deal that we couldn’t pass up…hopefully have it by Wednesday).

While Mommy and Daddy were tearing down the fair very early Saturday morning, I got to play with Ganny! That plan worked out very well for me! At 1:00 they came to pick me up, but I was still napping from my busy morning playing. When I finally got up, I got dressed and we were off to celebrate T.C.’s 21st birthday! Happy Birthday, T.C.!! I was pretty pooped out, so I went to bed as soon as we got to Mema and Pepa’s house while everyone else ate cake and opened presents.

Today Mommy and Daddy drove to Crawfordsville to drive by a house that was already sold…but that was okay, I got to watch Elmo on my new portable DVD player! Very cool! Thank you, Daddy!! I also got some new play tennis shoes…I’m a size 8 for anyone who’s keeping score. They have purple butterflies on them and NO shoestrings!! Anyway, We messed around in Mommy’s room at her work for awhile and I inspected every water fountain to make sure it was in working order…each one was A.O.K. Back home for a quick nap, then dinner and a car ride. Mommy’s finishing this blog for me while I’m drifting off to sleep right now. Hope everyone had a great weekend and to Pepa-another fair chalked up and finished without a hitch! Good work, Pepa and T.C.!!

Yesterday, after a very “difficult” Saturday (more on that later), Mommy and Daddy finally took ME up to see what Mommy’s always talking about….THE FAIR!! As soon as we got there, TC and Grandpa Macy met us to show us around. The first animals I saw were goats, but I thought they looked like puppies, so that’s what I called them! I got to see a Moo and pet it!! I said, “hi” to it several times, but it didn’t say anything back to me. That’s okay, I don’t like people to bother me either when I’m eating! Next we went to the bunnies! I love those hoppin’ bunnies! Then we went to see the ducks, chickens, roosters, and some other kinds of weird birds…sorry Aunt Carrie. I can’t say that I really enjoyed them either…they were loud! I made Daddy take me back to the bunnies for a quick last look, and then it was on to the baaassss (A.K.A-sheep). They were really cute. Mommy says she’ll take me to see the piggies on another day; from what I could smell, I don’t think I really want to go in there! Anyway, I was getting tired and grumpy after my whole one hour stay, so it was off to Mema’s house for some snacks and jammies. Maybe next time I’ll be able to visit a little longer.

UPDATE: Saturday I really tested Mommy and Daddy’s parenting skills. I got up EARLY, didn’t want to take a nap on any of the three failed attempts, I threw a tantrum for one solid hour over nothing, and I didn’t eat all day! Even though I slept all night, I got up again very early at 5:45! Yeah me!! So I guess we can say Mommy and Daddy passed the test…I’m still alive, although at times it may have been questionable!
