Mommy and Daddy finally made good on that promise to take me to the zoo. We packed up first thing this morning and headed down to the Indianapolis Zoo! When we walked in, we headed straight to the Water exhibits. Oh Wow! Guess what my favorite animal was? Tee-tull! Can you believe that Nemo was there, too? We went right from the aquarium to the Dolphin Show. I got a little antsy waiting for it to start, but it was well worth it. I was clapping and cheering those dolphins on to their best performance yet.
It was a blur through the Desert (snakes, more turtles, lizards, and cacti…ouch!) and Plains (giraffe, lion, elephant, zebra, rhino, ostrich) when we wound up at the Critter Corral. I got to pet a snake, bull, sheep, llama, and saw lots of horsies.
The best part of the day was the water park at The Enchanted Mill.

Well, the two days that Mommy has been home from school have NOT been filled with lounging and sipping juice. We have gotten up both mornings and headed straight for Lafayette. On Wednesday we went to the mall before the stores opened just to walk around. I had a blast! Mommy and Grandma Macy could barely keep up with me…especially once I found the Nemo poster at the Disney Store. Mommy had to carry me away kicking and screaming…literally. After that, we headed to the rock store so Mommy could get rocks for her new garden. 330 pounds of pure Antique Wallstone…whatever that is. Then it was time to head to Grandma’s house for a SHORT nap. I did get to play on my swing set and roll down the hill in Grandma’s back yard. Grandpa and TC came home a little later and played with me. That TC is so dreamy!!
Today it was up and at ‘em again. Back to the rock store for 340 pounds this time. At least I got to ride in the wagon while Mommy and Grandma filled it up. Afterwards it was time for some lunch…driveby style. Grandpa held my nuggets and fries while I made laps grabbing a nugget or fry at each lap. Back to Grandma’s house for an even shorter nap and then on to Menards for sand and dirt. I hope whatever Mommy is trying to make is worth all that effort! Love and hugs!!
When Mommy picked me up from Christy’s today, we didn’t head straight home. We went over to Steve’s “enchanted forest” and he dug up a whole bunch of plants, bushes, flowers, ground cover, and even strawberries!
When I got home it was dinner, bath, and straight to bed for me. But, Mommy and Daddy were out until after 9 digging, planting, watering, and just getting dirty. Heck ‘a tilth!
Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata are back from their big trip to Las Vegas!! I got a really cool shirt that I would like to thank them for again, and Mommy and Daddy got some stuff, too. Mommy sure was squeaking a lot about her present, but I personally liked my shirt the best! Thank you! Not much has happened since I last wrote…yesterday, but I’d like to say that I love playing with my turtle sprinkler in my back yard! Ganny got it out for me yesterday and I loved it!! I’m going to have lots of fun playing in the water this summer!
