Mommy stayed home today, but it wasn’t because she wanted to play with me
She was sick and spent most of the day in bed or on the couch. Grandma Macy came down to play and to make me lunch & snacks today. It was fun to hang out with her and empty my whole wagon of toys out on the living room floor.
Feel better soon, Mommy!
I’ve been pretty busy posting over the weekend, but I wanted to throw this one in. Can you spot me in this lineup?

Today I had a soft taco for the first time. The lettuce threw me a little, but I thought it was really good. Then, after a long nap, we went to Ellen and Gary Rooze’s (Mommy’s friends) 25th wedding anniversary party. I pretty much took care of any rock rearrangement they needed in their driveway as well as some walnut cleanup in the yard. I loved being outside, so I was a little upset to get back in the car. But, after some McNuggets on the way home, I was ready to Rock ‘n Roll again. We went to the school and had a great time on all of the playground equipment.
Here is the deal. I know that Mommy and Daddy have to get up early every other day of the week. But, I get to spend all day with them on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe that is why I automatically get up at 6?
Anyway, I got up in a blaze of glory this morning. Diaper full of poop and an attitude full of something and vinegar. We played all morning really hard…running, jumping, hiding, seeking, etc. Then, down for the morning nap. When I got up, we were off to eat at Pizza Hut and then to run some errands and play some more. Another nap later, Mommy and Daddy were hard at work doing some spring cleaning. There must be a lot to do, because they said something about needed spring to last 6 months to get all of the cleaning done. Anyway, they took a break long enough to take a big walk with me through the neighborhood in my wagon. I just kept saying “Wow” and “Oooohhh” for about 20 minutes! We had a lot of fun.
Here are some photo updates. Thanks very much to Patrick for letting me come and play (and thanks very much to Patrick’s Mommy and Daddy for sending the pictures).
