WOW!! What a weekend Mommy and I had together! Just to update everyone, Daddy went to Vegas with Uncle Manata and Poppa, and Ganny went with Jeff to visit Grandma and Grandpa French in Florida this weekend! Mommy told me that they will all be back very soon, but I’ll be asleep when Daddy gets home tonight. Just between you and me, I think I got a lot of “good girl” presents from Las Vegas..after all, I was a VERY good girl this weekend!! While everyone was away, Mommy and I had some quality bonding time together. We went to Lafayette on Friday to see Grandma Macy at work…that was fun. I got to play with her teacher things. Then we back to their house and I played for a long time before it was bedtime. I finally slept well…all night! Mommy was very excited about that. On Saturday, I woke up at 6:00AM and was ready to go…Grandpa wasn’t though. Sorry about that! I played some more and then Mommy took me to see Aunt Carrie. We drove around in the car and looked at houses…Daddy doesn’t like to do that with Mommy, but Aunt Carrie does! Then we went to Target and back to Aunt Carrie’s. I took a really good bath and went right to sleep! Sunday, I woke up at 6:00…again. Mommy took me over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house so she could go get relaxed and pretty at Christina’s with Aunt Carrie. I think she had a good time…she smelled good and her fingers and toes were different colors! After that, we finally headed home. I want to thank Grandma and Grandpa Macy, and Aunt Carrie for letting me come stay with them. I had a lot of fun. And Uncle T.C., anytime you need some help painting at Grandma’s house, give me a call…I’ll hold your tape for you! Love to all!!
Mommy Footnote: I would like to let everyone know that Morgan was telling the truth when she said she was a good girl this weekend. The week prior to this visit was one that would have tested the patience of even a saint! However, this weekend sleeping and bath times were awesome! It seems she is back on track and back to her old self…thank goodness!!
Sorry for being such a crab this weekend. Whatever was wrong is OK now, because I had a great day today. I was happy, laughing, playing, and snuggly…back to my old self. Thanks to everyone that put up with me or tried to make me happy while I was fussing.
Okay, to my loyal friends and family…I’m very sorry for not updating for a whole week!! BUT-it’s not all my fault. Mommy and Daddy usually help me out with my entries, but this week they’ve been pretty weird. Like, I didn’t get to play with Daddy for three nights in row because he worked really late. Mommy keeps making a squinty face and breathing out very loudly. I think it’s been a “stressful” week for them. They think they’ve got stress, they should try going down my slide with no pants on. Ouch!! Talk about a rash!! Anyway, I want to thank everyone for making my Valentine’s Day “Sweet.” Thanks again to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata for getting me my two favorite things…balloons and poop buckets!! Thank you Ganny and Poppa for my new book and the jammies. Grandma and Grandpa French, thank you very much for my “supersized” care package! I love to carry around the little bear! Grandma Macy came down on Tuesday and brought me a Valentine’s bear and a balloon with chocolate….thank you. Thanks Aunt Hillie for the card. Also, thank you Christy for me new car to play with! I love beeping the horn!! AND last but not least, thank you Patrick for the cute Valentine’s Day card!! Mommy hung it on our fridge right next to my lamb I made at the library. It’s gotta’ be a cute card if it’s on the fridge!!
Yesterday, Ganny whisked me over to the doctor’s office because I was feeling pretty puny. They checked me out and I ended up having a ear and eye infection…bummer. Daddy came home early and went around to all of the pharmacies in Lebanon to pick up my prescriptions. After taking my medicine, I had my second 2 1/2 hour nap of the day…man, I was wore out.
Thanks for taking care of me, Ganny, and I’ll be all better in time for your next visit.

Last night, Ganny and Poppa came down because they thought I needed more Valentines presents and love. I was eating dinner when they came in, and it was all over after that. I had to put on a show of running, squawking, and pointing. But, I think that the highlight was when I said “Gee-Gee” to Ganny. I had her eating out of the palm of my hand!
Thanks for coming down, Ganny and Poppa, and bringing me all of my Valentines presents, listening to me babble, and getting splashed by my bathtub chaos.
