Hi everybody. I’m feeling much better lately. My fever is gone and I’ve been running around and getting in trouble just like I used to. I’m still a little crabby, but we’ll just pass that off as lingering symptoms.

Thanks for coming down to check on my yesterday, Poppie. Thanks for the nice email Grandpa French. And, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Macy for letting me play at their house and eat their candy dough!

I ended up getting that fever. I have been sick for the last couple of days and have had a fever as high as 101. Mommy and Daddy have been trying their hardest to take care of me and make me feel better, but it is just going to have to run it’s course. But, on the bright side, I got to spend all day Tuesday with Daddy and he’ll feed me whatever I want!

By the way, Happy Birthday to Grandpa French!

Ok, so it wasn?t really a fever. It was more of a toothache, and I had it all weekend.

Despite all the new tooths that I?m getting, I was still the perfect little angel at Uncle Manata and Aunt Carrie?s on Saturday. We had a blast once The Mommy and The Daddy left.

First, we played with my toys. I sometimes forget that I have a whole other basket full of toys at their house. And, Aunt Carrie is always slipping in a new one every now and then.

Around dinner time, my tooths started to hurt, but I still ate all of my peaches and a nugget or two.

After dinner was bath-time.

That wasn?t much fun. Oh, sure, they had all the right toys, they had the right soap, the water was just the perfect temperature. I obliged by giving them a few kicks and a few splashes, but I was done with bath-time really quickly. Bath-time isn?t bath-time without being able to make a fool out of The Daddy.

After bath-time I got my medicine to make my tooths stop hurting. That helped a lot. I was quite snuggly and lied in Aunt Carrie?s arms for about an hour while I looked at their pretty Christmas tree. She even sang me Christmas songs and lullabies.

Then it was time to hit the proverbial hay. And boy did I. I was out like a light…

…and up at 6 a.m.

I wasn?t sure where I was when I woke up, but I knew it wasn?t home. The Uncle Manata and Aunt Carrie showed up and I was very pleased. And still very cuddly. Uncle Manata fed me my breakfast while Aunt Carrie fixed pancakes. Yes, I had some of those, too.

Then, we watched my move, and I?m sure that The Mommy and The Daddy have noticed by now that we forgot to bring it home.

I think I woke up too early, so I took a nap after breakfast.

Poppie stopped by for a while, so I was being all cute for his benefit. I think he was jealous that he didn?t get to play with me much.

That wore me out so I napped for a half hour, and before I new it, The Mommy and The Daddy were back.

I hope they had fun at their party, because I know that I sure did have fun at mine!

Worn out

Ganny wore me out yesterday. We got an early start and hit just about every store in Lebanon. The usual rounds include Kroger and Big Lots, but we also hit the Library, The Dollar Tree, Hallmark, Lo Bills, etc. I helped Ganny make some chili for Mommy and Daddy, and they both ate two bowls!

When we woke up today, we packed up and headed north to Lafayette…no surprise there. But, when Mommy and Daddy headed out to the car, I was still in the house with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata. I’m going to spend the night at their house and watch my movie, play guitar, eat dinner, take a bath…the whole works. Check back soon because I’ll want to tell you all of the stories!

Gee, thanks for the cheesy holiday effects on my website, Daddy. Classy.
