We’re all feeling a little sickly at our house. I think I have a cold, Daddy’s sinuses and head are full of snot, and Mommy’s throat is sore. But, it is still sort of nice just to be able to hang out at home. We’ve been playing and watching movies, so it hasn’t been all bad.
First, let me catch everyone up on all the loot I raked in over the last couple of days! Upon arriving at Ganny and Poppa’s house on Christmas morning, I found Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata waiting for me with a pair of snowman slippers for me to wear with a matching stuffed snowman! Very cool! I got to open my presents before everyone else, I think it’s because I’m the cutest one. From Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata I got lots of books, clothes, a toaster to go with my kitchen set, and an outdoor play set just to mention a few items. Ganny and Poppa got me more poop buckets (thanks–I needed them!), a basketball set, MORE books and clothes, a really pretty quilt, and something Poppa said was for when I was much older. If you ask me, I think being one year old is already pretty grown-up! Later on, Jeff, Vanessa, and Jeffrey came to visit, and I got MORE books and clothes! I love read my books, so I was very excited to see all the new titles everyone bought for me.
Soon after, Mommy and Daddy loaded me and all of our presents up, and we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Macy’s new house. Speaking of new house, I got a new play house and ball jumpy thingy for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa! They filled the room!! I had a lot of fun playing peak-a-boo in my play house with Uncle TC! Everyone else had fun playing with the balls from my other toy. They were throwing them at each other…hard! Mommy took one to the cheek, but thank goodness Uncle TC throws like a girl, so it didn’t hurt her too bad! I also got two new books, five puzzles, and two games for my Leap Pad. Wow!! I must have been a very good girl this year!
I can’t forget to mention that along with all of my new stuff, I got an ear infection, too. Mommy and Daddy took me to see Dr. Ho this morning, and he checked me out. I have to take some medicine for a few days, but at least they finally figured out what I’ve been trying to tell them the last couple of days! Gotta’ cut the Mama and Daddy some slack, they’re still new at this “parenting thing.”
Thank you to everyone that made my Christmas so awesome. I have the best family and friends any little girl could ask for! I love you all!
Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas.
Santa came to see me because I was such a good girl this year. He brought me lots and lots of presents and toys. I got a trike and a big girl chair to read my books in.
Now, off to all of the Grandma and Grandpa’s to pull in some more loot!
P.S. – Thanks for the tip, Uncle Manata. 5:30 am on Christmas morning is the coolest!
P.P.S – Sorry about the poop in the tub last night Daddy. It was…ummm…a reindeer. Yea, a reindeer came in my tub and pooped. I tried to stop it, but I figured that if it was bringing me presents, I would let it go.
Mommy is at home with me now because she is on Christmas break. I thought we would have lots of fun today, but Mommy isn’t feeling very well. She has a cold and is achy all over. Sorry, Mommy…I feel bad for you. I’ll try to be a good girl and watch my video and play with my toys while you get better.
I had a lot of fun shopping with Christy today. I got a new pair of K-Swiss kicks with pink tongues. When I got back to Christy’s house, Kelsie decided that I needed pigtails, so she hooked me up with my new look.
