Thanksgiving was a blast. We got up Thursday morning just like usual. But, after breakfast, Mommy and Daddy were running around like crazy to get themselves and me ready for a trip. When we got to Grandma and Grandpa Macy’s house, Uncle TC was outside in the driveway wearing his Carharts, sitting on a lawn chair, deep frying a turkey, and drinking some beverage in a can. It would have been a redneck scene if he didn’t have on an Abercrombie shirt, pants, underwear, and socks under those coveralls.

We had some snacks and showed off the latest gallery of glamour shots. Everyone loved all of my pictures. Then, we chowed down on lots of good grub and watched Baby Einstein 3 times (it must be everyone’s favorite…mine too!). After such a big day, I was asleep after 2 minutes on the road.

Here is my new dilemma. Now that it is officially Christmas season, my Veggie Tales CD has been bumped by Kenny G Christmas. Somebody help me!

In case you needed a reason to take a look at my birthday pictures again, Uncle Manata and Aunt Carrie sent over the shots they took. Check them out!

Well, I’m officially one year old now. Now that all of the chaos is over, I can tell everyone about my birthday extravaganza.

On Friday, we went down to the south side of Indy to get some glamour shots taken. I primped, posed, and even fussed like a super-model. The pictures turned out great (of course…look at the subject matter) and I can’t wait to share them with you.

On Saturday, the decorations started going up and I knew that we were about ready to Rock and Roll! Ganny and Poppa came down with a big red wagon to take me to Big Lots. We shopped and wandered the neighborhood while the finishing touches were put into place. Shortly after we got back, Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata showed up with a mountain of presents for me. Then, Grandma and Grandpa Macy came rolling in with Uncle TC.

Mommy bought two bundles of balloons. Add that to the bouquet that Grandma Macy brought me, and I was having a blast. Be sure to check out the balloon action in my Birthday Pictures.

We played, ate, sang, and opened presents. I got everything I could have wanted and the kitchen sink (literally!).

Thank you very much for all of your great gifts and cards. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa French for singing to me and sending their love and birthday wishes. It was great turning one!

I?m one year old today! Wow, a lot has happened since just a year ago. Can you remember when you first came to see me in the hospital? What about the first time you saw me crawl? I can walk and feed myself now, too. I?m learning and growing so much every day.

Thank you to everyone that cares so much for me. There are lots of people that love me, think about me, take care of me, and have always wanted the best for me. I love you very much and I can?t wait to impress you with my next word or trick. You make it fun to be Morgan Lee.

Hmmm…lots of running around at our house lately. What are Mommy and Daddy up to? And, I’ve been feeling just a little older lately. What is going on?!?
