I have a CD that I like to make Mommy and Daddy listen to in the car. I figure that if they can make me spend so much time in that car seat, they can at least let me rock out to my Bible Tunes.
Anyway, one of the songs on there is about Noah’s Ark. “The Lord – told Noah – there’s gonna be a floody floody”…you guys know the one. Well Holy Crappy Crappy…it’s rained for 40 days here at home. Lightning, thunder, rain, wind, floods, tornados, frogs falling out of the sky…the whole bit. It’s been rough. But, I’m sticking in there and sleeping like a champ.
On a different note, I’m having some visitors today. Don and Ellen from Mommy’s school are coming over to visit. That will fun…new targets to puke on.
This Canal Days thing is nuts. Everyone goes outside and plays in the hot sun. Mommy and Daddy came back smelling like dishwater, nacho cheese, and ice cream.
Thanks to everyone for playing with me this weekend. I had fun with everybody and can’t wait to be a big helper next year!
I know it’s been awhile since I last gave everyone a rundown of my very busy social calendar. So here goes, Mommy and Daddy finally filled my pool up on the deck and let me go swimming!! I’m sure many of you have figured that out by now what with the pictures of me in my “tummy slimming” swimsuit and all. I had a lot of fun splashing Mommy and Daddy…it’s kinda’ like taking a bath, only it’s outside and I’m not naked! I also got to go swimmng at Grandma Macy’s house, but not in the big pool. Mommy brought my pool up with us.
Mommy keeps making these silly “pillow case” dresses for me and making me sit out in the flowers to take my picture. Doesn’t she know that the sunshine is way too bright for a little girl like me?! She didn’t seem very happy when I threw up my dinner on her lastest and greatest attempt at sewing.
Now for the BIG NEWS…no Mommy’s not having another baby! It’s even better then that because it’s about me, Morgan Lee! Today, while Mommy and I were playing in my room, I showed Mommy that I can go from laying down on my tummy to sitting up, all by myself like a big girl! I think she was really excited to see my newest accomplishment because she sure was squeaking a lot! I have to say that I’m pretty proud of myself, too.
Well, I think that’s all the news for now…I’m supposed to be taking my nap right now; better get to it! Happy 4th of July to everyone!!
