Well I have had two very eventful days in my social calendar…which you know is always busy! Yesterday, Mommy stayed at home to have a “mental health” day. She said it was to catch up on stuff around the house and do school things…I think she just wanted to play with me! Ganny came at 10:00 to take me to Lafayette to Grandma and Grandpa Macy’s to spend the night. Mommy and Daddy had a night out with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata in Indianapolis. Poppy came home during lunch to play with me, and then we were on our way to see Chuckie at work. She called me Miss Perdy. What’s that about? BUT WAIT–before we could get on our way to see Chuckie, Sarge and Grandma French found me…I think they have a global statilite positioning system on me…it’s in my diaper!! I finally ended up at Grandma Macy’s at around 4:00. We took a stroller ride around the circle and then to chow time. Bath time was not so good, I was very tired from my day’s events. Needless to say, I was crabby. BUT, I did sleep for 12 hours straight! That’s nice!! Whew…I’m a very busy lady!
Today was the day!!!! I finally showed Mommy that I really can roll over, and over, and over! I really kinda’ liked it, so I did it a lot at Christie’s today. I don’t know why Mommy was so excited though, I knew I could do it all along; I just didn’t want to. Mommy and Daddy also think I might be getting a “tooth.” I don’t know what that is, but it sure makes me drool a lot, and I love to shove ANYTHING in my mouth that I can bite down on. Hard! Mommy’s fingers seem to work pretty well for biting, too. Well, I’m off to eat my peaches for the night. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the sweet potatoes the best. Yummy!
It was a pretty eventful week. On Monday, Mommy and I went to Target and we got to see Ellie. Then, on Tuesday, we had “the elbow incident”. On Wednesday, we learned that Abby is going to be a big sister. Now I won’t be the youngest one! Steve came down with Ellie and Kara to plant Mommy’s tree on Thursday and we all went out to the stinky mexican place.
This weekend was all about the plants. Mommy and I went up to Lafayette on Saturday and bought lots of plants and trees with Grandma Macy. We brought them all home and made Daddy dig and sweat to plant them all in the ground around the deck.
Oh, yea, one last thing. Uncle Manata is trying to set up manata.net. He has the domain name, he has the web server, and he has the site created. Now all he needs to do is figure out how to put all the pieces together. I got to see some “beta” work on the site and it looks like it is going to be a riveting piece of investigative journalism.
