I have hands. I know I’ve had hands for a while. I use them to bring everything withing 12 inches from my body to my mouth…everything. They’re also good for knocking things over and pulling on Daddy’s chest hair. This is not news, I’m just letting you guys know.
So I’m laying in bed for the last couple of mornings just yelling, cooing, squeaking, laughing…the general routine. And, all of the sudden, there are these other hand-looking things hovering over my head. They’re attached to my legs, but I can’t get them un-attached. I’ve tried pulling and moving them around, but no luck. Anyway, they’re fun to look at and play with.
Everybody came down to play with me tonight! We celebrated Ganny and Gma French’s birthdays. I sure had a lot of fun playing with Aunt Carrie. I was laughing at how silly Poppa and Manata looked with those pom-poms.
Ganny and Poppa are home!!! They brought all of us lots of good girl and boy presents. I was a REALLY good girl, so I think that I got extra presents. Or, maybe it is just because I’m REALLY cute. Either way, I’m glad they’re home and I’m glad they had a good time. It sounds like they had a relaxing time because it was almost like Hawaii is their old stompin’ grounds. They knew where they were, where they wanted to go, and what they wanted to do. So, they didn’t have to spend 1/2 of their vacation figuring that stuff out, they could really do all the things they wanted to do and have fun. At least, that is what I think I heard over all of my yelping and babbling.
But…get this…Poppa got a tattoo! He got a little baby duck on his arm. It is real…I licked it and drooled on it and it didn’t rub off. Wow, that Poppa will surprise you when you least expect it. But, I think it is pretty cool (and it ups his toughness factor).
I think that Mommy and I are going to come down to Indy again today to see Daddy. Hopefully, we’ll have lunch at a fun place that likes to hear babies squeak.
I slept all night…again!!! Man, this sleeping at night thing is a piece of cake. I don’t know what the big deal was. On a totally unrelated note, Mommy and Daddy seem like they’re in much better moods lately.
Mommy and I went to Lafayette today (I let her drive again). We drive around and did some shopping…it was fun. I’m a go-go baby and Mommy has a lot of things on her Spring Break to-do list, so I’m sure this wasn’t our last trip together this week.
Hey, guess what everybody…I have a voice. Yup, that’s right. I can scream, yell, and otherwise raise a big fuss with these lungs of mine. I’m not mad or anything, I just like to hear some noise. I’ll blab, squeak, and holler all day at totally random times. Hey, it sound better than Mommy’s singing, so I think I’m going to keep it up for a while.
I slept all night last night! I was such a good girl and mommy and daddy are so proud of me. I think it is the carrots. When Mommy feeds them to me, I sort of spit them out and play around, but that is just to keep up appearances. I really like them and can’t wait to get my hands on a hamburger.
Today is Mommy’s first day of Spring Break. I’m looking forward to spending all day with her, it will be fun. I am a go-go baby, and Mommy likes to be on the move, so I can only imagine the adventures we’ll have this week.
Hi everybody! Welcome to my diary. I promise I’ll try to update it as frequently as I can, but you’ll have to be patient. I have small fingers and it is hard for me to type.
Ok, so on with my first diary entry.
I’m going to Costco with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Manata today. That should be fun. I bet I’ll get a new dress or outfit. Mommy can’t resist, she is such a sucker for cute baby stuff.
Hey, today is Ganny’s birthday! Happy birthday Ganny…I love you. I hope you’re having fun in Hawaii and will bring be back a good girl present.
