Wow…what a big weekend. The crazyness started on Friday when Aunt Carrie came down to relieve Ganny on baby duty. I don’t know who ended up more tired, me or Aunt Carrie. We had fun, though, but I get the impression that I won’t have any cousins for a while.

Ganny had to leave early because Poppa got a good boy present from his work. He won two awards from Toyota and they went to Chicago to party it up. They had a big fancy dinner and went to see The Lion King. It sounds like fun, but we were preparing for our own adventures at home.

We got up at the usual time on Saturday and then Mommy and Daddy started running around. They were trowing stuff in the car and we took off for a BIG car ride. We drove up to Chicago, too, to play with Kopp and Rita. They are going to have a little baby soon and I wanted to work them over and whip them in to baby shape. It was a fun trip and I got to play with their puppies, Max and Molly. I thought they were pretty cool and I think that we need a puppy now. Daddy is in but I still need to work on Mommy.

We came back to Indiana Saturday, but then were up and going again Sunday. Mommy went shopping and daddy hung out in his jammies until it was ready to get dressed and go see Grandpa. Grandpa French won a good present from his work, too. He is on the Wall of Fame at the Tippecanoe County Board of Education. That means he is smart. I kinda missed his speech because either Uncle Manata was making me laugh or I was snoozing. We went out to eat afterwards and I tried some banannas…I’m not quite sure about those yet. We’re going to try them again tonight and I’ll let you know if they grow on me.

Daddy still has a job! Yeaaaaaa! Seriously, does he think diapers and mushy carrots grow on trees? Get out there and make that dough, Daddy. (editor’s note: Conseco recently went through a big reduction in workforce and the IT department was hit yesterday).

Mommy tried to mow the lawn last night. Silly Mommy…what was she thinking? Doesn’t she know that I’M THE STAR? I had to remind her every time she tried to mow by screaming and crying…that seemed to do the trick. So, Daddy took care of the rest when he got home and I got to play with Mommy. Seems like a win-win situation to me.

Easter Bunny

We all went down to check out Celebrity Kids on Saturday. I am going to be a big star there, I already know it. There were a lot of cute babies on the wall, but when I get done there, they will have to change the name to Morgan’s Studio. I’m a diva!

On Sunday, we went around and made the Easter rounds. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Macy’s house first and hung out there for a while. That Chris is soooooooo cute. A little skinny, but cute.

Then, we went out to Grandma and Grandpa McKnight’s house. Let me tell ya, that Kathy chick is looney. I didn’t really know what to think of her. But, everyone else made over me and said how I was so cute, so it was worth it.

Then, we went to Ganny and Poppa’s house and Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata were there, too. I showed everyone how much I like sweet potatos and ended up taking a bath in Ganny’s tub. I splashed Mommy pretty good…I soaked her pants.

Let me just tell you that this Easter Bunny guys is pretty cool. I woke up…presents. I went to Grandma Macy’s…presents. Ganny and Poppa’s…presents. Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata even brought presents over. It was awesome! I promised Mommy that as soon as my arms were stronger that I would start helping her carry all of my loot that I get when we go to visit people.

I haven’t updated in a while, but there hasn’t been much to tell. We come home, I eat, we play, I cry, we take a bath, I cry again until they give me a bottle, then I go to bed. Pretty normal routine this week.

Daddy got his Red Hat 9.0 Linux server up and running last night, though, which is really cool! He has Apache Web Server, PHP, and mySQL running so that he can build and host database-driven web apps/sites. Man, he is so smart that it is scary sometimes. Combined with his devilish good looks…watch out!

On the move

I have to rat them all out. They didn’t go to the Race! Ha! I knew it. We drove all the way down there, parked, got out, and I watched them argue about it for 20 minutes through the car window. Finally, Uncle Manata got back in the car and drove us all away. What a bunch of goobers. I was all set to race my little butt off…I had my stroller, my hat, spare pants, etc. Oh well, maybe next year.

But, I did get to have some fun Saturday. Mommy drove me down to see TaLarah’s new house. We hung out with Jennifer Bowling and TaLarah for a while. They thought I was pretty cool. I was hamming it up and flashing my smile. They couldn’t resist me.

Mommy and Daddy went looking for couches again this weekend for the loft. So, I spent another Sunday in my car seat for most of the afternoon. Man, I wish they would just find this thing and get it over with. But, when we got home, we played outside on the deck for a while, so that was fun.

Mommy’s Spring Break is over, so we’re riding to Crawfordsville in the morning again. I get to see Christy again today. She went to Florida for Spring Break. I bet she missed me…I got even cuter while she was gone! She’ll be loving on me all day!

Update:Christy brought me an airbrushed outfit from Florida. It said Morgan and had a dolphin on it. Cool!
